Descripción

Mint & Tonic by Atkinsons is an aromatic citrus fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2018, this composition features the olfactory signature of Evelyne Boulanger. In its opening, mint intertwines with lime and grapefruit, giving way to a heart where ginger, mandarin, and geranium create a vibrant atmosphere. The trail settles on vetiver, cedar, and musk, closing the structure with elegance.

  • Delicious and refreshing fragrance that evokes a summer afternoon on a terrace with something cold, citrus, and mint. But there’s a catch… its performance is weak. It acts more like a cologne due to its poor sillage and short longevity, which makes me advise against buying it, as the price is high for the performance you get. So… it smells wonderful, but it lasts as long as a summer romance.

  • Side note: It seems some people are convinced this perfume must smell like gin and tonic or juniper berries. I recommend they reread the name and ingredients and realize that tonic can be enjoyed without gin.

  • Atkinsons keeps that quintessential British look that defines it. It opens with a citrus and menthol blast that blends with a lavender not listed on the bottle and a green vetiver reminiscent of Creed. Smells clean and fresh, with a touch of soft sandalwood giving it body. Forget gin and tonic or tropical cocktails, thank God! But yes, it delivers that sought-after mentholated freshness for summer. The mint isn’t the sole star like in Xerjoff’s Torino 21; it’s better supported, yet it lingers throughout the life of the fragrance. I see it as a spring and summer scent, for day or hot nights without much intention. It’s elegant, fresh, and leans slightly masculine thanks to the vetiver and lavender, though it wouldn’t go amiss on a woman either. Not excessively youthful. Perfect for the office or semi-formal gatherings. Lasts about 4-5 hours, typical of a citrus. Top-notch aromatic quality.
