Descripción

Gingembre Rouge by Roger & Gallet is a fruity floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2014, this composition was created by Amandine Clerc-Marie and Alberto Morillas. The top notes unfold a vibrant blend of pomegranate, ginger, and mandarin; the heart reveals the delicacy of ginger flower, lychee, and orange blossom; while the base notes land with an elegant mix of white musk, cedar, and candied ginger.

  • I thought after all that marketing hype it would be a bomb, but turns out it’s just a clone of Yves Rocher’s Moment de Bonheur. Nothing special or different, since there are thousands of perfumes with that same scent. And watch out! Where’s the ginger note? You can’t smell it anywhere. Angel Schlesser’s Sprit de Gingembre actually smells like ginger, but this one, nothing. What a disappointment.

  • As I’ve read in other reviews, I don’t smell ginger on this; instead, I get citrus with a sweet, clean touch. The scent is delicious, but it’s a pity it only lasts a few minutes. Disappointing; I expected much more from this house. In my opinion, it’s not worth it. Scent 7/10, longevity 1/10, sillage 4/10, value for money 1/10, versatility 1/10, packaging 6/10. Would I buy it again? No, I didn’t even buy it.

  • As others say, I don’t smell ginger in it—just clean, sweet citrus. The scent is lovely, but it vanishes in a flash. Too bad, I expected more from this brand. In my opinion, it’s not worth it. They reformulated it; now the bottle is transparent and you can feel the alcohol slap, barely noticing that pomegranate fruity scent anymore. What a pity.

They’ve reformulated it: now the bottle is transparent, and you feel the alcohol slap as soon as you apply it, barely sensing that pomegranate fruity scent. A shame.

I agree with the previous reviews: it’s citrusy but sweetened with lychee, which immediately screams ‘tropical heat.’ Working with citrus is tough because they’re volatile and fade quickly, but here they’re well-balanced with lychee and a floral touch that makes it luxurious and natural. On my skin, after a few hours, a soft cedar stands out (I have acidic skin, so citrus doesn’t last for me, but woods do). That cedar pairs with a spicy ginger kick that gives a nice little punch to the nose. It’s well-crafted by master perfumer Morillas, an expert in fresh scents for hot weather, and it doesn’t smell synthetic; it feels entirely natural. It’s not overpowering, allows for layering, and is perfect for daytime wear for young people with a classic style. Ideal for work or shopping. It’s a friendly scent that offers an exotic wink to anyone who smells it. A good fragrance, sweet and rich in natural essences.

I agree with the previous reviews: it’s citrusy, but sweetened citrus with lychee that screams tropical heat from the very start. Working with citrus is tricky because they’re volatile and usually don’t last long, but here they’re well-balanced with lychee and a floral touch that makes it luxurious and natural. On my skin, which is acidic, after a few hours a soft cedar emerges (the citrus doesn’t last on me at all, but the woods and vanillas do). That cedar is accompanied by a spicy ginger that gives a little kick to the nose. Well-crafted by master perfumer Morillas, an expert in fresh scents for hot weather, and it doesn’t smell synthetic; it feels entirely natural. It’s not overpowering, allows for multiple applications, and is a daytime scent for women or young men with a classic style. Perfect for work or shopping. It’s a friendly fragrance that offers an exotic hint to anyone who smells it. A good fragrance, sweet and rich in natural essences.

  • What a disappointment. The fragrance is rich, but it vanishes in less than 15 minutes. Not worth it.

  • Divine scent: red berries with just the right amount of sweetness, clean, juicy, and feminine without being over the top. The bergamot gives it a special sparkle, and the overall composition is well-rounded, even if it fades in a breath. Still, I use it and enjoy it because it’s a delight.

  • The scent is delicious. Berries with just the right amount of sweetness. Clean, juicy, feminine, and sweet without being overwhelming. The bergamot makes it luminous, and the combination is well-rounded, but it lasts only a breath. Still, I use it and enjoy it because it’s a treat.
