I bought it years ago and it broke my heart when I saw it was limited; I’ve been waiting years for them to bring it back. It’s undoubtedly my favorite summer fragrance; I have more expensive perfumes, and this cologne holds its own. It’s fresh with the perfect citrus touch, and the rhubarb gives it something special. I hope it stays available. EDIT: The truth is, it has very little longevity, I suppose because it’s an EDT priced like an EDP… Also, the atomizer comes loose with use, which has happened to all my L’Occitane bottles; they should take better care of that.
This fragrance went from charming me to being totally indifferent to me. It was one of my summer favorites, but now I notice a synthetic edge I didn’t perceive before, and the longevity is laughable. I suppose my sense of smell has improved and now I can distinguish things I didn’t notice before, so not bad. I gave it to my mother, who adores it, and we were both happy.
My first impression upon opening the bottle and spraying it was smelling an acidic dessert, far from what I expected. I love grapefruit, but I still prefer the 4711 Pink Pepper & Grapefruit Cologne for how refreshing and energizing it is.
Very refreshing and tart with rhubarb. It’s a limited edition, but if you can get your hands on it, it’s a summer hit. I find it absolutely unisex.
It’s the very definition of fresh, perfect for summer. It bursts with grapefruit, grapefruit, and more grapefruit, but in a fruity, non-synthetic way with that typical tartness. It’s super unisex and ideal for those stifling, humid Buenos Aires summers where everything feels heavy; this little fragrance gives instant freshness. I love that acidic touch. It lasts about 3 hours on me, the trail is skin-close, it’s relaxing and for personal enjoyment: you’ll smell it, and whoever is right next to you at most. That’s why I recommend buying it on sale; at full price, it’s not worth it. Everything is clean, a great plus from the brand I adore.
