  • Didn’t like it, but it’s not poorly made. I agree with English reviews mentioning an initial ‘fecal’ note; maybe that’s not the exact word, but it captures the vibe. I think it’s the rose, oud, and passionfruit blend that gives it a strange sweetness causing that effect. After about ten minutes, that ‘dirty’ note fades, leaving a veil of dark, dusty roses, yet where you can still sense the freshness of dew on the petals, even if they’re a bit soiled, if you can imagine it all at once. I’ll use a term I often apply to Encre Noir: Gothic. Roses in the midst of darkness, an abandoned chapel in the countryside, perhaps in Ireland. Dampness, gloom, cobwebs, dust… and right in the middle of all that desolation, a vase of roses. It’s a perfume that gives me a sense of excess. With a very potent, almost offensive opening, and a dry-down that requires some finesse to wear well before it becomes slightly more pleasant. Definitely not for the office. Although rose has historically been a masculine scent, I confess I find this fragrance leans feminine.

  • I’m sorry to say I don’t like it, even though it’s not poorly made. I agree with reviews mentioning a ‘fecal’ point at the beginning; maybe that’s not the exact word, but that’s how I feel it. I think it’s the mix of rose, Oud, and passion fruit that gives it a strange sweetness causing that effect. In ten minutes, that ‘dirty’ note disappears, leaving a mantle of dark, dusty roses with a freshness of dew, even a bit dirty. I’ll use the term from Encre Noir: Gothic. Roses in the darkness, an abandoned chapel in the countryside, humidity, dust, and spiderwebs, and in the middle, a vase of roses. It gives me a feeling of excess: a powerful, almost offensive opening, and a development that needs to be handled to become friendly. It’s not for the office. Although the rose is historically masculine, I confess it leans towards the feminine.

Stay away if you lack character! This perfume has a lot of personality and is super delicious, though it’s not for everyone because it’s not easy. To enjoy it, you need to have smelled perfumes different from the common ones; it’s a cold, clean, and mineral Oud. Its rose is juicy and sexy, fruity thanks to the passion fruit. It’s not challenging but hard to understand, though every time you smell it, you understand more about niche perfumery. Blind buy? No, but try it to understand perfumery. I give it 10/10. It has a slight touch of More than Words, but fruity and like Moschino’s Toy Boy with asteroids: super radiant, a red and cold rose in a dark forest.

What a delightful rose! I’m falling in love with rose compositions; here we have a delicious one, not too feminine, with the fruitiness of passion fruit and an Oud that reinforces it. It’s intoxicating, they smelled it yesterday and were surprised. I’m in love, gentlemen, but with one perfume: Flaming Red.

What a delicious rose! I’m falling in love with rose compositions; here we have a delightful one, not too feminine, with the fruitiness of passion fruit and an Oud that reinforces it. It’s intoxicating—I wore it yesterday and people were surprised when they smelled it. I’m head over heels, folks, but it’s just one perfume: Flaming Red.

  • It starts with a bright, almost cherry-like rose, sweet and potent, but synthetic. It reminds me of The One Mysterious Night by Dolce&Gabbana. It lasts about half an hour before giving way to passion fruit and vanilla with a barely perceptible trail of Oud. It’s linear and fades evenly until the eight-hour mark. I like it a lot, though the performance isn’t great: it projects for the first hour and then sticks to the skin. I recommend it to Oud-Rosa lovers, but those who prefer more rose and passion fruit. Cheerful and pleasant for ages 25+, unisex, all year, and any outfit, perhaps not very formal. Scent 8/10, Sillage 7.5/10, Projection 6/10, Longevity 5.5/10.

  • Oud-Rosa is trendy, and while I like both notes, it’s hard to make them stand out. Flaming Red tries with the passion fruit, giving it a fruity and juicy touch. The Oud appears at first but holds back to let the rose take center stage, returning subtly at the end. It’s unisex, bold, and cheerful. The note quality isn’t top-tier, but it’s a good, distinct perfume from the White Collection.

  • I hate the classic Oud-Rosa, but here I only smell the passion fruit with a vivid, juicy rose and vanilla pushing from the back; the Oud doesn’t come through, maybe that’s why it smells dirty and earthy, but I don’t mind. I liked it quite a bit, even though florals aren’t my style—I almost finished the 3ml decant. It’s a playful scent, perfect for dates. Recommended.

  • Synthetic in the opening due to that passionfruit note, which feels more like an acidic, heavy candy; the worst perfume by Cristian Carbonell and the worst rose-oud combo I’ve ever smelled.

  • It’s synthetic with that passion fruit note that smells like sour candy and feels heavy when it dries down; it’s the worst of Cristian Carbonell’s lineup and the floudest Oud-Rosa combo I’ve ever tried.
