BEST FOR SUMMER: Wow, when Calvin Klein made this Eternity edition, they really nailed it. It’s an almost perfect fragrance for summer and hot climates, with decent longevity and enough intensity to handle the heat and workouts, yet versatile enough for the office or casual weekends. Even though mandarin isn’t listed in the notes, it smells like one to me—not like the orange-heavy notes that were popular ten years ago (like Boss Orange, Carlo Corinto, etc.), but this one is more versatile, has a sweeter touch, and seems more intense than other citrus fragrances. Something interesting is that while there are many fresh and citrusy scents, few would I recommend for a beach day where you’re sweating and many disappear without a trace; this one, however, has good intensity and fulfills its role of keeping us smelling good for longer. The aquatic and citrus notes with a floral touch blend very well, while the incense and sandalwood give it that extra “punch” to keep it vibrant for longer. It’s an excellent fragrance you can buy blind that will work great in hot climates. Recommended sprays: 5 to 7. Longevity rating: 8. Sillage: Medium. Intensity: Medium.

The interesting part is that while there are tons of fresh scents, few actually work for the beach where you’re sweating and others fade instantly; this one holds up well and keeps the scent going. To my nose, this smells like a fresher, softer, summer EDT version of The Body Shop’s Smoky Rose. The desert rose in this perfume is very similar to theirs. You can really smell the rose mixed with incense, saffron, and a touch of citrus, all blended with a clean musk and fresh water vibe.
I absolutely loved it. It’s ideal for summer but works all year round. The packaging really stands out and is very attractive. The fragrance is fresh and light, like a summer breeze. It’s dominated by pleasantly slightly fruity aquatic notes. It truly delivers on the quality reputation Calvin Klein is known for.
This is a fragrance where aquatic notes take over everything. At first, it smells like lots of bergamot and rose, but within minutes the bergamot fades, leaving behind a very potent water accord. After half an hour, I can’t smell the rose, osmanthus, or saffron anymore; only that intense water remains, which defines the scent over time. It smells good and I like it, but I wouldn’t buy it because it’s not my style. Also, for it to be called Eternity Summer, it doesn’t feel fresh enough for summer heat; I think it’s better suited for spring or autumn, as I look for summer perfumes with a strong citrus presence, and this loses its citrus touch quickly. Longevity on my skin is short (about 3-4 hours) and the sillage is very soft. From this house, I still prefer the original Eternity. I recommend it to lovers of aquatic scents.
