I bought this impulsively after getting samples of Eternity while looking for something with cypress or suede. I hate mature men’s fragrances and classics (Loewe, Essence, nada de eso), but this one has caught me. It’s not for getting tons of compliments or enjoying it like others, but it smells very homemade and comfortable. It’s mature yet wearable, even for someone young like me (I’m 28 and would wear it without hesitation). It gives a sense of shelter, like being in a small town home with the heat on watching the snow. It’s well-made: not boring and not smelling like a thousand copies. I don’t think the price is abusive (I saw it for 45€ for 100ml). The only disappointing part is the notes: suede/chamois never fails me in a perfume, and here I don’t get it. Maybe it’s my neurosis, but I only detect a barely perceptible trace of soft fabric. The cypress and nutmeg are super vague. To me, it smells like musk, indistinct woods, light lavender with geranium, and ambergris. Trail and longevity are average, projection is good but not annoying, and it lasts about 2-3 hours well, then skin scent. For me, it lasted all day until the shower. Perfect for spring, but also the rest of the year and even summer. Try it, you might be surprised.

It was my first perfume and a blind buy I have no regrets about. The formula is vintage, giving it a nostalgic touch, especially with the cypress and lavender that remind me of a golden era. Ideal for ages 30+. It opens fresh with apple, then turns sweet with lavender and cypress. It’s super versatile for daily wear or when you don’t know what to pick, but in heat, control the sprays because that sweetness can get suffocating. Scent: 5/10, Projection: 5/10, Versatility: 7/10, Rating: 5.5/10.

This one definitely lasts longer on the skin and smells rich.

Which one would be better, this or the Hugo Boss Extreme?

It’s an old-school fragrance with significant freshness. The lavender takes the lead alongside green apple, giving an unmatched sense of cleanliness. It’s for daily wear but very unmodern. The good: it’s simple and easy to digest; if you don’t know what to wear to go out, you can apply it without thinking. The bad: it’s too timeless, stuck in the past with the evolution of perfumery, making it harder to use today. Plus, its longevity and projection aren’t great, and it doesn’t get many compliments. Its value doesn’t match the market; since it’s Calvin Klein, you’re paying for the brand, but it’s not worth it based on what I’ve said. Longevity: 5/10, Projection: 5/10, Compliments: 5/10, Total: 5/10.

Just to clarify, I’m not an expert nose, but I’ve used it quite a bit. The opening shows it’s a floral old-school version. It’s sweet, floral, and a bit aquatic (due to ozonic notes). It’s followed by a floral heart that reminds me of lavender and geraniums from my grandparents (in the good sense of naturalness), with a spicy touch from nutmeg. Finally, it softens into a scent I don’t recognize but don’t dislike. I highlight that the heart note cocktail is very good, coming together quite well. Longevity is very good, projection isn’t so much. It’s a good option, but watch out! Only if you’re over 35 and like this old-school style, because I don’t see it on a young guy at all. Perfect for spring and non-scorching summer days. Daytime only. Projection: 6, Longevity: 8 (lasts a long time on clothes), Scent: 7, Versatility: 6, Price: 7, Final Rating: 7.

Very similar to the Eau de Toilette. So similar that is it redundant to buy it if you already have the ‘Toilette’? For me, yes, but not for a die-hard Calvin Klein and Eternity collection fan. Both are good scents with subtle differences, especially in the base where there’s a more prominent woody tone. Longevity is correct, and I find the projection better than the ‘Toilette’, though not significantly. It’s not for competing at a nightclub; its natural setting is daytime, elegant, and for temperate or slightly warm climates. Obviously, someone with attitude will pull it off anywhere, but no matter how much attitude you have, wearing shorts with a tank top and Eternity for Men EDP won’t work at a formal wedding or a funeral. I recommend trying it; I don’t think those who buy it blind won’t use it excellently.

I’ve used it about 5 times. It smells good, somewhat elegant and modern. I detect the suede, and it’s a good suede that adds an elegant touch along with the nutmeg, but the herbal notes balance it out so it doesn’t feel too stuffy or old-school, even today as it’s getting chilly. Just today, to give you an idea, I smelled it among gift wrap and Vix Vaporou. A pleasant, elegant, fresh, and refined scent.

If you love the legendary Crossmen, Massimo Dutti, or Springfield, then this Eternity EDP will be right up your alley because it follows those paths, though more modernized and fitting for this era. It’s an herbal-soapy scent, quite all-rounder (except for cold weather) with good longevity (6-7 hours). I see it as the perfect signature fragrance for a man finishing his 30s or starting his 40s, and from there upwards, this is great. Younger guys might project too much maturity or seriousness. The fact that they chose Jake Gyllenhaal (with a thick beard) for the campaign reflects the type of mature man CK is aiming for. To all that, add good price and solid performance. Well done CK, this is how it’s done.

I love this Eternity 2.0; it’s absolutely delicious. You can feel the DNA of the 90s EDT but 10 times stronger and obviously better crafted as an EDP. Here you won’t find anything innovative, unlike the new Parfum version some mention is quite different and aimed at another audience (I haven’t tried it yet). This EDP smells clean, fresh, spicy, certainly somewhat generic, but very easy to enjoy. To my surprise, it lasts 5 hours, a longevity I didn’t expect, with a decent trail. If you reapply, it’s easily 9 hours, projecting fully and lasting on clothes easily for 2 days. I think it can be used for everything: mild summer, spring, autumn, and winter, ideal for the office or after-work outings. You won’t impress anyone, but you’ll smell rich, clean, fresh, like a true Gentleman. I recommend it ONLY IF and ONLY IF you like this 90s vibe of remembering Timberlands, Levis 501s, Silver Clouds jeans, plaid shirts, Tommy chemises, and more… A great hit from Calvin Klein Perfumes.

I grabbed this right out of the store after smelling it and thinking it was a beast. It smells green like its color, and it really is a beast: you can smell it from kilometers away. On my skin, it lasts over 8 hours, nearing 12, even though I try to be moderate. It smells like green apple hitting you in the face. I’ve gotten tons of compliments, but I don’t wear it much because of its insane projection; it can be overwhelming if you over-spray. For me, only for cold weather, not in the heat, because it bothers others. I also don’t see it for night; it’s too clean and nowadays sweet perfumes dominate. Before buying, test it in a store because my bottle is the first one and maybe they reformulated it with the Parfum version.

I started hating it and slowly it earned a spot in my collection, to the point where I never let it run out. It doesn’t discover anything new, not even anything, but it’s reliable, performs well, and is liked a lot… it’s the typical ‘I’m in a rush and don’t know what to wear’ type; you spray it and you look great. It’s like getting hit in the face with a basket of apples: if you don’t like it, don’t even get close… by the way, for me, it has nothing to do with the EDT.

I bought it online due to the good reviews. Before picking it up, I tested a sample and for me, it’s a fragrance from another era. It doesn’t smell bad, but it reminded me of Brut Classic, with the latter being even more pleasant. If you’re over 50, I think it would suit you perfectly.

An example of an honest perfume. Especially regarding its value for money, since in physical stores you pay over €40 for 200ml. On my skin, it performs well, with moderate projection but a wide longevity (more than expected). At first, it’s herbal and fresh, then as it dries down it turns into suede and ambroxan. I’m not a fan of the wood molecule, but it doesn’t become too loud. It has that mass-market perfume feel; it’s not the latest trend, but it fulfills its function of perfuming you for a few hours in situations where you don’t need anything opulent. More for daytime.

Updated Fougère featuring sage, I also perceive cypress; very herbal, woodland, or countryside, all in order. Soapy lavender appears, something retro. It’s a green, masculine, classic yet current scent, achieved. I notice light bursts of floral, specifically geranium, interwoven with lavender and cypress. Now some ambroxan at the base, whispering… The scent isn’t heavy, nor does it hit you hard, but it makes itself felt, it’s present and perceived comfortably. It maintains a correct projection. It’s quite versatile. It could be a commercial catalog scent, but it has a vintage, outdated air with a deep, fresh greenery that sets it apart from ‘modern and mainstream,’ which I’m glad about. It has personality, without reaching niche status, but within designer perfumes, it’s quite peculiar these days. Masculine and for a mature segment. I’m liking it quite a bit over time (despite that insidious ambroxan). It has personality. I bought a 200ml bottle at a laughable price (less than €40), worth it as a daily EDP to avoid overthinking and smell good without falling into mass production. Nice bottle and beautiful color. Modest packaging.

An updated fougère with sage; I also perceive cypress, very herbal, woody, or country-like, all in order. The soapy lavender comes out, something retro. I like it quite a bit as time passes, despite that insidious ambroxan whispering in the underbelly. I bought a 200ml bottle at a ridiculous price (less than €40), it’s worth it as a daily EDP, to not overthink it and go out well perfumed without falling into massification. Modest packaging.

It’s a more mature scent than the original but keeps that DNA, lasts very well, and a few sprays are enough. I see it for daytime, personal use, going out with friends, shopping… for the office, I think it’s a bit intrusive.

A fragrance that follows the fern trend and is for lovers of green and woody scents. Does it smell like nature? No. But it’s a green scent where on my skin, a slightly sweet but very light ambergris stands out, accompanied by a resinous cypress aroma. I perceive the sage as soapy, and it lasts throughout the fragrance’s moderate life on skin. It’s not a bad fragrance. It’s made to please those who have worn Eternity for years and are already tired of it. It’s a bit younger, but yes, also more rigid. It doesn’t suit everyone; if on a classic man with trousers, shirt, and jacket, it’s excellent for work or daytime errands, and it will be liked a lot. But it’s not seductive; for leisure and going out with friends, Eternity Flame is better. Perfume for parents and office workers. Ideal also for business trips with a suit and briefcase. On my skin, the ambergris (synthetic) stands out a lot, leaving a sweet but very soft nuance. It’s not a bad creation. An all-terrain perfume that doesn’t surpass the Eternity EDT nor the Flame. I like those last two more.

Bought blind. A current, pleasant fragrance that’s hard to offend anyone with. More than correct for daily life at work or any informal occasion. You can smell that little bit of green apple, but it’s not overpowering. Still, I don’t find it anything special or extraordinary, although for the price, it offers good value for results. I put it on at 10 AM and I can still smell it on my skin at 7 PM.

I’ve been using it for several days and I’m surprised by the longevity and quality for the price. Fruity at first, a very good green apple; the dry down reminds me of Chanel Egoiste Platinum (more modern), so it lasts until it fades, maybe the ambergris touch gives it the modernity, which helps with the 8h+ longevity. I apply it without mercy since I have the 200ml bottle, it doesn’t bother because it has a fresh/herbal point.

Honestly, it felt like an interesting and decent launch from Calvin Klein. It opens with cool notes between fruity and green; to me, it smells like sage and the fruity note (they say green apple, but it doesn’t smell as acidic to me as I expect). I detect quite a bit of sage. Gradually it dries down and loses some strength, but it doesn’t fade away. I still notice herbal notes, wood, and a patchouli base. It’s quite aromatic, though with a certain lack of definition because everything is very mixed and balanced. It’s interesting because it evolves and smells good the whole time. The metallic tone of the EDT disappears, making it deeper. I like it more, even though it doesn’t break molds: it’s classic, fresh, and with a modern touch. Suitable for daily wear and the office. The performance isn’t bombastic, but for its style, it’s not bad: 4-5 hours on skin and a bit more on clothes. The trail is great at first, but fades after 10-15 minutes, though you can still smell it close to the skin during those hours. Projection fails after that initial time. I would have preferred more realism in the apple note and better projection. The price is excellent: just over €40 for 200ml, very reasonable. Good launch from CK, I think it’s their best proposal so far.

Got a laugh out of this one: it’s a modern Fougère with a woody soul. The opening is fruity and green, but what really stands out is the cypress and nutmeg, giving it strength and character. The cypress here isn’t dark like in Encre Noire; it’s aromatic, more like Gucci Sport. It softens over time but keeps its style. Perfect for the office: clean, masculine, and not too youthful, though it doesn’t feel as classic as the original EDT. Lasts about 8 hours without issues, and the bottle color matches the scent perfectly.
ngarcia
To me, it smells like old-school Sauvage and L’Homme Ideal: a typical designer scent, a bit mature and slightly artificial. The first thing I notice is the terrible performance; two sprays and it’s almost gone immediately. It has a retro vibe, but lacks that strong aromatic punch of the 80s. As it dries down, the green notes fade, leaving a sweeter suede and nutmeg blend. I didn’t find it special at all, neither for those seeking something modern nor for those wanting classic. Skip it.

Reminds me of that old Sauvage and L’Homme Ideal range—a typical designer scent that’s correct but feels a bit mature and artificial (for me, Sauvage is definitely the best of the three, being the least artificial). At first, I was really struck by the terrible performance; I sprayed two puffs and it was practically undetectable right after application. It has a retro vibe, but without that strong 80s aromatic stickiness; that’s in the opening, because once it dries down, all the plant notes disappear and it becomes a completely different fragrance, a blend of suede and nutmeg notes that give it a sweeter tone. I didn’t find it special at all, neither for someone who prefers a modern style nor for someone looking for something more classic. Skip it.

I walked in with doubts, thinking it was just Eternity with better longevity, but it has its own path. Honestly, the scent feels generic, unoriginal, and repetitive, like the rest of the line. Calvin Klein just bores me to tears.
Jorgepucela
I was given two samples of this new Calvin Klein EDP. It’s not an explosive opening… it’s fruity but with a touch of maturity. It’s not a scent I’d wear myself, but I have to say the first half-hour leaves a quite noticeable trail. We’ll see if the longevity matches the ‘fraud’ of its EDT, but for those who like this type of fragrance, the opening and sillage don’t disappoint.
juancar677
I spotted it in a physical store this Saturday. It’s the fourth launch in the Eternity series in 2019, following Summer, Flame Man, and Woman. It’s not bad if you like green notes; it’s very pleasant and wearable with a youthful touch. Although as an EDP it doesn’t meet all my expectations, it’s logical for Calvin Klein’s men’s perfumes. It feels more like a daytime scent with little night potential, but as a pleasant fragrance, it’s quite good.
