Elegant, cold, and sharp like a heartless woman with two lovers and a thriving business. She sleeps alone every night, thinking in numbers and planning her life to the millimeter. There’s no room for improvisation. She might have wished to be different, but now it’s too late to change. She is haughty and dazzling, has no friends and trusts no one. She travels alone with little luggage. And she never, ever looks back.

Mediterranean: I loved your review. I bought it for my mom and I can’t find words to describe how beautiful it is on her. Every person who smells it has something positive to say. It’s simply a masterpiece.

This women’s fragrance is super versatile! Exquisite and cozy (sorry for stealing the word). It reminded me of the most delicate and light moments of Acqua di Gio. Beautiful bottle. A true masterpiece. I’ll just say this: my future wife needs to smell like Narciso Rodríguez. PS: The review for Mediterranean is historic; I subscribe to it 100%.

I love it.
The elegance of simplicity made into fragrance. A perfumery masterpiece by genius Alberto Morillas. It’s an olfactory poem that awakens the senses and wraps you in an aura of beauty and cleanliness. Light yet intense at the same time, long-lasting but soft, it lingers on the skin for hours, and the dry down is truly delicious. I love this perfume. It’s a wonder.

To me, it smells clean, pure hard soap with talc. I can’t find the rose anywhere, and it reminds me a lot of Chanel No. 5; they seem almost identical (though someone might kill me for saying that). It smells like an older person; I’m not saying I don’t like it, but it’s not a scent I identify with.
To me, it smells clean, pure hard soap with talc. I can’t find any rose in it at all, and it reminds me a lot of Chanel No. 5; they seem almost identical (I say this even though someone might kill me). To me, it smells like an older person; I’m not saying I don’t like it, but it’s absolutely not a scent I identify with.
It has a notable metallic opening that then wraps you in an aura of softness, cleanliness, tenderness, and purity. Delight.
I own it and use it because it cost a fortune, but I don’t really like it. Maybe once it dries down it smells good, but I can’t quite get a good read on it. I only notice the scent right when I apply it, and it’s too… I don’t know how to say it, metallic, closed off?
I own it and use it because it was very expensive. But I don’t quite like it. Maybe when it settles it smells good, but I can’t seem to smell it on myself. I only catch the scent when I first apply it, and the smell is too… I don’t know how to describe it, metallic, enclosed.
Soft, as if peace had a scent. It transports me to walking through a green field in a white dress.
I was looking for a simple, clean scent but with the longevity and depth of a real perfume… and voilá! In my opinion, it’s for people who don’t usually wear perfume or dislike strong fragrances. At first, there’s a certain spicy, soapy touch; I don’t know if that’s what some reviews call metallic. But it disappears quickly, giving way to a soft, clean talc with violet or lilac notes. It reminds me of sheets hung out to dry in the sun, when, as a child, I’d climb to the rooftop and help my mother fold them. Smells like luxury fabric softener, colognes, and baby oils. Luminous, fresh, and ethereal. In the background, a very young rose wrapped in musk and amber makes this a sophisticated, refined, warm, enveloping, and intoxicating scent. Very feminine and sensual, skin-close. Natural seduction. Suitable for any season, day or night, as long as it’s not too hot. Perfect for formal, professional, and intimate events. Longevity and sillage are moderate. The bottle shares the same minimalist and elegant simplicity that defines the fragrance. When I first saw it, I thought it would be a cold, lunar scent. How wrong I was. On the contrary, while feeling that sense of cleanliness and freshness, I perceive an amber warmth enveloping me that never leaves. Simply beautiful silver crystal with a curved mirror effect full of reflections. When I first held it in my hand, I saw my reflection in its surface and thought: That’s me. Simply. I don’t need any more artifice.
I was looking for something simple and clean but with body and longevity, and I found it. Ideal for those who don’t wear perfume or prefer to avoid strong scents. At first, a spicy, soapy touch—maybe that ‘metallic’ note others mention—but it passes quickly, leaving soft talc and violets. Smells like sheets in the sun on the roof, luxury fabric softener, and kids’ cologne. It’s luminous, fresh, and ethereal, with a young rose wrapped in musk and amber that makes it elegant, warm, and enveloping. Very feminine, sensual, and close to the skin. Works all year, day and night, without being heavy. Perfect for formal events, work, or dates. Longevity is moderate. The bottle is minimalist and elegant; I thought it would feel cold and lunar, but I was wrong: after that initial cleanliness, I feel a constant warm amber glow. The silver crystal with a mirror effect is gorgeous; I looked at myself and thought, ‘That’s me.’ No artifice needed.
Hello Mediterranean, keep writing reviews like this; they’re fabulous and you have so much imagination.
It was a paper love at first sight that turned into a letdown on the skin. At first, it smelled like a strong woman with iris and roses, but on the skin, it smells like Marseille soap and projects nothing. In the end, pretty but not for me.
What a pity it’s not coming to Latin America; it’s marvelous and smells totally crisp.
I thought I wouldn’t buy another Narciso because everyone was already using it, until I tried ‘Essence’ in a store. The salesperson insisted, and it was my undoing: I loved it. It’s warm and fresh at the same time. I tried it yesterday in my pajamas, and it’s already a new star in my collection.
This smells like a brand-new baby, super clean and original. People ask what you’re wearing, and it lasts forever on the skin, leaving that talc trail. Ideal for work or important events, although the downside is it’s no longer sold.
Rumored to smell like an old person, but nothing like Belgian muffins or waffles as La DameDeNoir would say. It does smell ‘old’ in a good way: like a mature woman, clean, expensive soap, luxury moisturizer, perfumed talc, and freshly ironed clothes. Smelling classy these days is considered being ‘old’! It’s a perfume that denotes judgment and savoir-faire. Young girls don’t know that turning a certain age means starting to stop caring and not needing to please anyone. Essence is a nude perfume, a non-perfume perfume. Its function isn’t to stand out in a club so some random Jonathan can give you a rub, but to smell like you, just better. I love that the bottle has that almost mirror-like finish. What’s inside isn’t a disguise; it’s you with a touch of sublimation. No one crafts aromas as simple, neat, yet beautiful as Morillas does—it makes you want to cry. It’s not for Snookis or baroque tastes; it’s for an Olivia Palermo.
What a beast!
I tried a decant sent by @Ziggy, who is a delight, and I must say it smells delicious and clean. It’s a delicate fragrance and I totally agree with their review.
An iridescent rose and musk scent with a soapy, clean touch.
Found it right at the checkout and knew it was mine. I’m almost out and haven’t been able to find a replacement. I used it for everything and it fit perfectly. It smells subtle on the skin and leaves a trail in your personal space without invading others’, ideal for close-range wear.
