Escada was born in Munich in the seventies on the initiative of Margaretha and Wolfgang Ley and first established itself in women's fashion. The house later brought its collections into the perfume business, which today is part of Coty's portfolio of beauty brands.
Coty presents Escada fragrances as limited editions linked to the seasons. In summer it brings together launches under The Escapades by Escada and during the holidays it groups references in The Drop of Love. Availability changes by season, so each edition is identified by its name and year.
