  Honestly, at first, Kirke Overdose didn’t impress me at all; it sounded just like the classic version, so I left it gathering dust on the shelf. But yesterday, I got lucky chatting privately with Paolo Terenzi, who explained the perfume’s story and completely won me over. I took the bottle in its beautiful box. If you know Kirke, it probably won’t surprise you since the DNA is there, but in my opinion, they gave it a more interesting, balanced, and less loud twist. I never bought Kirke because it reminded me too much of Erba Pura, which I already own and barely wear due to its popularity (yes, I don’t like smelling like my perfume everywhere, sorry). Kirke Overdose has that unmistakable fruity touch with noticeable ambergris from start to finish. Beyond that fruity balance, I sense a floral note that makes it rounder and more addictive. I recommend testing it on clothes and skin to notice the different phases. Following Paolo’s advice, I also suggest layering Kirke with Overdose; it looks spectacular.
