Descripción
Ébène Fumé by Tom Ford is an oriental woody fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2021, this olfactory composition was created by perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux. Upon release, the scent unfolds with incense, palo santo, black pepper, and violet leaves; the heart reveals leather, labdanum, cade oil, Egyptian papyrus, and rose; while the base settles on resins, ebony wood, and guaiac wood.

Buy blind. It felt like a work of art to me: I notice a lot of palo santo with woods and incense in the base. The only downside is that, although it lasts quite a while, the sillage is moderate and it stays close to the skin quickly. All in all, it’s worth it; it’s already one of my favorites.
Blind buy. It simply feels like a work of art: I detect an intense palo santo accord with woods and incense in the base. The only downside is that, while it lasts quite a long time, the trail is very moderate and fades to skin-level quickly. All in all, it’s worth it; it has become one of my favorites in the collection.
Truly a work of art. It’s the perfume my wife likes most out of all the ones I own.
Truly a work of art. The perfume my wife likes the most out of all the ones I own.
It smells great and has quality; it’s woody, ambered with a herbal touch, like healing balms or esoteric shop incense. I see it for formal events; it’s rich, but the trail and longevity are limited. It projects only for the first 30 minutes, then you have to get close. Scent 8, Longevity 6, Sillage 7, Uniqueness 7, Quality 8.
I love it! The best money I’ve ever spent… honestly, more of an investment than an expense.

One of the best I wear, it always gets compliments. That palo santo, ebony, spices, and incense project personality; it’s for mature noses. Simply superb.
I tried it yesterday and the first impression is spectacular, a well-crafted and balanced scent. You can tell the ingredients are high quality. It’s woody, mature, with leather and incense. One of the best I’ve ever tried. I won’t judge the performance since I don’t own a bottle, but a colleague calls it superb and he’s right. As for whether it’s worth $400, I don’t think so.
It smells like an old wooden wardrobe, burnt pine resin, and aged wood; it’s a real treat.
In my opinion, it’s the best Tom Ford I’ve tried, right up there with Ombré Leather.
Hey, it smells identical to Bottled Elixir, it’s the same essence.
What a marvel! Tom Ford in its purest form, one of the best I’ve ever tried.
Ebene Fumé by Tom Ford: An eccentric and unusual scent that, even for demanding noses, is a tremendous fragrance showcasing exquisite fine woods combined with herbs, spices, resins, and incense. It’s like walking into a mansion filled with so aromatic wood that it permeates the entire space. A glossy yet opaque and rough luxury; incredibly refined with sublime taste. Every note is meticulously detailed; you can savor the woods, resins, and incense separately. It definitely reminds me of Nasomatto’s Black Afgano, but here no single note dominates; they play equally, with palo santo being the key to its charm. It’s not an easy scent for every occasion; you need experience to appreciate it, as it goes beyond simply “smelling good.” It’s truly a luxury to behold its quality and beauty, an exclusive fragrance that lingers in the memory. It should be worn in situations that deserve it. It’s purely lucid, exemplary, refined, and gorgeous, perfect for defining status and keeping distance. It’s not jovial; it requires maturity, personality, class, elegance, and the bearing of a well-established, solvent, and confident man. Its use is social and nocturnal. It has a peculiar and sensual charm. In short, an extraordinary perfume. Scent: 11. Projection: moderate. Longevity: 7 hours. Recommended.

My signature scent. I love it, I’ve never tried anything similar. It’s a woody smell with that unique sweetness that can’t be described. Totally unisex fragrance, though not for everyone. For me, the most special thing my nose has ever experienced.
Literally smells like carpentry and fine woodworking. Even when it dries, it leaves a varnish sensation (nothing aggressive). The trail is weak but present (the nature of the ingredients just doesn’t allow for a powerful sillage), but that feeling of smelling an old piece of furniture is wonderful.
Ébène Fumé is a dark, elegant woody fragrance, with a pleasant presence of leather, resins, and incense, emanating a lordly elegance. I really like it, but its weak point, as in almost all the house, is the price, quite high. Despite this, few alternatives exist that resemble this caliber. I invite you to try it and draw your own conclusions. It’s a strong recommendation that will surely be greatly appreciated.
What a perfume spectacle! Wow! I’m head over heels, I smelled it two days ago at a department store and easily bring its scent to mind. I love the palo santo smell and it dominates here. In my opinion, it’s unisex, for bold women who like different things, have character, and want to make an impact, to not go unnoticed. On men, it would be super sexy. In short, it’s a scent I’d want to smell on my partner. I want it, no ifs or buts, and I wouldn’t hesitate to share it to enjoy it on him too.
I tried it a few days ago and at first I didn’t know what the smoky herbal aroma reminded me of, then I remembered it literally smells like the incense priests use in churches. It’s an extraordinary smoky herbal (palo santo). Palo santo makes the smokiness different from other scents in the house like Tobacco Vanille or Tuscan Leather, as it’s perfectly balanced. After an hour, you enjoy it more… and its longevity exceeds 10 hours…. Highly recommended for cool or cold climates with dark clothing. Suitable for those over 40 in special or elegant occasions. Fun fact: a little got on a polyester jacket, and after 7 days, the jacket still smelled identical to STRAIGHT TO HEAVEN BY KILLIAN…
Sophisticated and very elegant. An absolute treat!! I don’t even notice the rose, nor do I need it. Unisex, leaning more towards the feminine side. Exquisite!
I’m starting to think my skin amplifies the incense so much. I love incense; I’m Christian, and it connects me with that feeling and Holy Week in southern Spain, where I’m from… but I get tired of just smelling incense, and when a perfume carries it, on my skin I only sense that.

Complex and addictive aroma 🤤, the best from Tom Ford.
Smells like pure palo santo, an absolute delight. How long does it last on the skin? ☝🏻
