Rodrigo Flores-Roux
Born and raised in Mexico City, Rodrigo Flores-Roux discovered his passion for perfumes at an early age. This passion led him to study biology in Mexico before moving to France at the age of 20 in 1989 to attend the prestigious perfumery school ISIPCA in Versailles. There, he had the opportunity to complete an internship with the renowned perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena.
Rodrigo began his career designing scents for shampoos and cosmetic products, but his big breakthrough came with the creation of the iconic Clinique Happy fragrance. Today, he holds the position of Senior Perfumer and Vice President of Fragrance Creation at Givaudan, a leading fragrance house worldwide.
Throughout his illustrious career, Rodrigo has worked with top-tier brands such as Tom Ford, John Varvatos, Dolce & Gabbana, DKNY, Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, Carolina Herrera, Tommy Hilfiger, and Estée Lauder, to name a few. His notable skill has earned him numerous FiFi Awards and led him to the Fragrance Foundation Hall of Fame. His creations have been recognized internationally for their originality and distinctive personality, with many of them becoming bestsellers and modern classics.
