What a gorgeous perfume, one of my favorite scents, yet also a disappointment… Without looking at the notes, the opening is pure green melon, with a ‘serious’ touch that makes it refined. It lacks citrus, so I wouldn’t call it fresh. It’s more of a green fruit (now I know it’s pear) with soft aquatic florals. Very special, it smells like nothing else. The golden bottle screams ‘premium’ and it smells that way, but the disappointment lies in the longevity and sillage: very weak. That’s the issue: you create something so accomplished and want everyone to smell it, not just you. Plus, it’s terribly expensive. I think the outrageous price and lack of projection have doomed this gem to failure. If I ever find something similar, more noticeable and reasonably priced, it will be my favorite.
I wore this years ago and it remains one of the best and most pleasant scents I’ve ever tried. I never understood why they pulled it from shelves; it smells elegant, sexy, and delicious, with such an original sillage. What a shame it’s no longer available.
