  Complex fragrance. The opening is absolutely awful—I had no faith—but it evolves into something distinct. You can detect olive, almond, jasmine, woods, and incense. It becomes feminine, enveloping, and warm. Unlike commercial scents, it’s woody, spicy, and sweet. Perfect for fall and winter, though also great on cool spring or summer nights. It’s a true perfume, not a body splash like many Arab brands hype up, and it’s for someone with personality. If you like scents everyone loves (like Yara Candy or Mayar) and aren’t ready to try exotic aromas, this isn’t for you. It could be unisex. Not suitable for blind buys. People say it’s a dupe for Amouage Guidance; I haven’t tried it, but I feel it’s complex and long-lasting (though not as much as Guidance, which is rumored to last days). Scent rating: 10 for being different, ignoring that horrible opening. Projection: 8, Longevity: 9. At this price point, if you’re looking for something off-the-beaten-path and more niche, it’s excellent.

  I’m completely in love. I started with terror on my skin, but it was 100% worth every penny. The bottle is beautiful too; I just need to find one.

  It’s very similar to Guidance; I initially doubted its longevity, but people definitely notice the scent. It’s gorgeous, enveloping with pear notes and unique ingredients. While not as potent as its inspiration, it’s a great option for fall and winter for me.
