It was one of my first perfumes; my friend gifted me a travel-sized bottle years ago, and honestly, I still have it left. When I first received it as a child, I absolutely hated it: it was too strong, made me dizzy, and gave me terrible headaches. I thought I’d grow to like it over time, but for years now I haven’t dared to even touch it—just remembering it makes me feel nauseous again. Recently, feeling older, I finally tried wearing it again. At night, when I’m sleepy, it works fine and causes no symptoms. But during the day? Pfft, it’s a terrible idea: with the sun, working in the office, and that scent that won’t go away even after washing with water, I nearly faint. The fragrance is awful, super strong, and synthetic; I don’t think everyone can tolerate it. Even though I love vanilla scents, this one is definitely a no-go for me. I’ve put it away again because I just can’t stand it.
