  1. Daïma by Fragonard also plays with almond, but that’s where the similarities with Reminiscence’s Dragee end. To me, they’re two completely different worlds. Daïma hits hard and very sweet; that initial anise paired with almond promises something flashier and more gourmand than Dragee. But soon the sweetness fades on my skin, leaving a very low-key powdery almond trail. Longevity barely lasts 3 hours. Am I just anosmic to this, or does winter not agree with it at all? If I had to choose, I love Dragee more: it has that sparkling opening, the drying down of sweet almonds, and better sillage and longevity. I wouldn’t recommend it as a substitute. While I like Fragonard and they have affordable gems, this Daïma just doesn’t cut it. Scent: 5.5/10, Longevity: 3/10, Sillage: 4/10, Value: 4/10, Versatility: 5/10, Packaging: 6.5/10. Would I buy again? No.
