Dahab Absolu by Kajal: A Luscious Fruity Floral Gourmand for All

Kajal introduces Dahab Absolu, a new unisex fragrance that captures the essence of sun-drenched fruits and warm, comforting base notes. Launched in 2026, this scent is crafted by renowned perfumer Patrick Müller, known for his ability to blend vibrant accords with sophisticated depth.

From the first spritz, Dahab Absolu bursts with a juicy medley of mango, passion fruit, and citrus, before settling into a heart of honeyed florals and a creamy, woody base. It's a fragrance that feels both playful and elegant, perfect for those who love a generous, gourmand twist on classic florals.

The top notes unfold a symphony of mango, tropical fruits, passion fruit, green apple, orange, grapefruit, and bergamot. This sparkling, fruity opening invites an immediate sensory journey, with a citrus freshness that awakens the senses.

At the heart, rose, honey, jasmine, lily of the valley, geranium, and blackcurrant leaves intertwine. The honey imparts an enveloping sweetness, while the blackcurrant leaves add a slightly tart, green edge, creating a rich and nuanced floral bouquet.

The base rests on cashmeran, vanilla, musk, caramel, oakmoss, and gaiac wood. Caramel and vanilla provide a near-edible warmth, while oakmoss and gaiac wood offer an earthy, woody counterpoint that balances the sweetness.

The accords of this fragrance include fruity, tropical, sweet, citrus, fresh, rose, fresh spicy, honeyed, white floral, and floral. This complexity makes Dahab Absolu evolve beautifully on the skin, revealing different facets throughout the day.

With an impressive rating of 4.23 out of 5 based on 31 ratings, Dahab Absolu has clearly resonated with fragrance enthusiasts. Its two reviews highlight its versatility and remarkable longevity, confirming Patrick Müller's talent for creating memorable compositions.

This fragrance is ideal for anyone who appreciates a vibrant, sweet scent that transitions effortlessly from day to night. It appeals to both men and women who enjoy a generous dose of fruit and gourmand notes, and it works particularly well in spring and summer, though its warm base makes it a year-round companion.

Dahab Absolu is a delightful addition to Kajal's lineup, offering a rich, juicy, and comforting olfactory experience. Its balance of bright fruits, honeyed flowers, and creamy woods makes it a versatile and memorable choice for those who crave a touch of indulgence.

For me, it’s a Lamar with steroids, Lamar already being a bomb… the same prickly rose this time instead of pineapple it has a tropical fruit cocktail. For now, it hasn’t won me over.

  2. If you have Aican, you have Dahab absolut. Nothing more. What a way to go around the same thing, changing the name. It smells very good, but more of the same.
