Curious Heart is a Valentine’s Day reissue of Curious (2005), and in my opinion, that bottle is a total disaster. As for the scent, it’s basically the original Curious, though some say it has more pear—I think it’s the opposite: more white florals, less pear, more sandalwood, with better projection and longevity. Curious was a global hit and beloved in the US and Europe, but inevitably, it was reformulated in 2008. The current formula is much weaker, with fewer white florals, poorer projection, and doesn’t last as long as the original. I mention this because many theorize that Curious Heart carries the original Curious formula, but unlike the Fantasy Anniversary Edition, that’s just a theory. Both Curious Heart and the two Curious formulas remind me a lot of Dior’s J’adore, just without the pretension. If you’re willing to take a chance on Curious Heart, you might find the original Curious (much more elegant than the current version) or end up with an adorable collectible bottle.
