  • Spiced woods: this perfume is majestic, smelling like well-seasoned wood with a sweet touch. Very balanced and smells great right out of the bottle. It’s a niche unisex scent that works amazingly well in the heat. It’s become one of my favorites because it’s easy to live with.

  • Spicy woods. This perfume is majestic, evoking highly spiced wood with a sweet touch. Very well balanced, the scent is a whole from the moment it starts. It became one of my favorites from the beginning because it’s easy to process.

Pity it doesn’t last long on my skin. I’ll give it a second chance tomorrow with more sprays, but I fear it won’t convince me. The scent is beautiful, but at this price, it’s not enough. I accept reapplying at 5 or 6 hours, but when I have to do it because it’s barely noticeable even up close, I discard it. What a pity because I’ve loved its aroma.

  • Spices, woods, cedar, and a faint whiff of smoke with lots of cinnamon. Without being sweet or gourmand, a touch of honey sweetens and juxtaposes those woods that would otherwise be harsh. It’s a cozy, warm, and ‘cozy’ fragrance for winter or autumn, unisex though it leans slightly masculine. But, that’s my impression. It evokes a quiet place like a cabin in a pine forest, a smoking fireplace, flannel pajamas, snow on the forest litter, firewood, and a pot with water, syrup, and lots of cinnamon. It’s not really my style or the most versatile, but it’s not challenging and has quality.

  • Crimson Rocks is an easy grab if you stick to Amouage’s usual standards. It’s a non-overpowering wood and spice blend with a honey note that makes it rich and appealing. Cinnamon takes the lead, mixing beautifully with everything. I see it as unisex, it lasts well (though maybe not quite as long as some of the brand’s beasts), and it’s best for temperate or cold climates. I only have a sample, but I’m definitely buying the full bottle. Rating: 8/10

  • Crimson Rocks is easy to like if we stick to Amouage standards. It’s a woody and spicy scent without being overwhelming, slightly sweet from the honey, with a dark rose base that makes it rich and attractive. As mentioned, cinnamon plays a leading role and blends very well. I see it as unisex with good performance, though perhaps inferior to other beasts from the brand, and I see it for temperate and cold climates. I only have a sample now, but I hope to get the full bottle soon. Note: 8/10.

  • Amouage has already gotten us used to high-quality notes, wide sillage, and eternal longevity. This is a safe buy for anyone who loves the scent of powdered cinnamon or a cinnamon stick, accompanied by honey that smells like a honeycomb, with a perfect sweetness and an animalic touch. It also features pink pepper, identical to the pirul tree in Mexico, a spicy, woody, and green aroma. You can perceive woods and a mature rose that doesn’t overpower, but accompanies, giving comfort. When I wear Crimson Rocks, I feel warm, comforted, and cuddly. I feel like being in a cabin having a glass of wine in front of a fireplace under a starry sky. It’s one of the 5 most delicious perfumes I’ve ever smelled. Completely unisex, moderate sillage, and longevity over 12 hours.

  • Amouage always surprises us with top-tier notes, a big sillage, and eternal longevity. This is a safe buy for anyone who loves powdered or stick cinnamon accompanied by honey that smells like comb, with a perfect sweetness and an animalic touch. It also features pink pepper, similar to the chiltepín tree here in Mexico—spicy, woody, and green. You can smell the wood and ripe rose, which don’t overpower but rather complement and provide comfort. Putting on Crimson Rocks makes me feel warm, comforted, and huggable. It gives me the urge to be in a cabin with a glass of wine and a fireplace. It’s one of the five most delicious perfumes I’ve ever smelled. Totally unisex, moderate sillage, and lasts over 12 hours.

  • With rainy and cold weather, this turns into magic and I fell in love. It smells like fine wood, cinnamon, and a faint rose, super elegant and warm. It’s a whole different story with the right climate. The quality is notable, with great projection and sillage.

  • Although I’m not a fan of sweet scents in general, this works wonders. I see it as feminine, but with a lot of density, intensity, and medium-to-high sillage; the longevity is just but reasonable. The woody cinnamon note comes out soft and addictive. On a woman, it seems kind and sensual without feeling cheap, very elegant and sincere. It starts dense and creamy, then calms down while maintaining presence. On a second wear, I notice more conflict between the sweet and bitter notes; I like it more than expected. The bitterness reminds me of almond, but the honey and cinnamon still dominate. It’s too feminine and sweet for me, but it has exceptional quality and effect.

  • The best thing about this perfume is that people compliment you. It’s not for everyone; it has a complex scent, but it’s great. To me, it smells like sharpening a wooden pencil, mixed with something sweet in the background and a very, very subtle rose that doesn’t overwhelm.

My boyfriend gifted this to me based on a recommendation, thinking I’d like something sweet. And yes, it is sweet, but not that youthful vibe I was looking for at 21; it leans more towards woody and spicy, with cinnamon and a very dense honey. I haven’t worn it in a year, and curiously, it smells better and better each time. It’s ideal for very elegant, occasional occasions—something nocturnal that needs to be worn with care. It wasn’t the perfect fit for me, but it’s far from a bad fragrance.
