  • I bought it hoping it would be a caramelized vanilla, I read a review comparing it to Sticky Dates and didn’t even think twice, I bought it blind. No caramel, no nuts. The scent doesn’t change or evolve, logical since it’s just a mist, not a perfume, but the Cheirosa 62 does. It has disappointed me. It literally smells like Maria cookies. If you like that, go ahead, it’s your mist.

  • Delicious smell! Caramel, popcorn, a really rich cookie or shortbread. You’d really want to eat that fragrance. For me, it’s not cloying at all. I wish it smelled fresh for longer, but on skin it lasts a max of 2 hours, on clothes it lasts several days though very faint. 100% recommended.

  • The best Cheirosa from Sol de Janeiro and we can go to the pineapple for this opinion. No, I’m not exaggerating. It’s better than the 62. It’s a fragrance exactly as it says. It’s literally freshly baked cookies, toasted macadamia, chocolate, caramel, it’s a super edible fragrance. You put it on and I guarantee more than one will say ‘what is that delicious smell?’. Besides what’s described, it reminds me of the movies, probably due to the caramel and vanilla notes. For a body splash, it lasts a lot. No synthetic smell, smells like sweets, toasted, for god’s sake buy it. If they discontinue it, it was a pleasure to know it because if the 71 goes, I’m going with it.

  • For me, this is currently the best body spray from the brand. Smells like vanilla cookies with white chocolate chips. Performance could be better, but it lasts a long time on clothes, which saves it a bit.

  • This perfume, well, body spray, makes no sense, it’s popcorn with white chocolate and toasted nuts, pffff, it’s the peak of gourmand, right next to Belle Parfum by JPG, now it’s time for the 62 which scares me more because this one left me with incredibly high expectations.

  • I went to try it with high expectations and didn’t like it at all. It’s true it smells like cookies, but I found it very synthetic; I expected something more subtle and less invasive. Very cloying.

  • This body spray, whether worn alone or layered, is amazing and my favorite from the brand in terms of scent and performance. It lasts up to 4 hours on my skin, I highly recommend it if you’re a sweet gourmand lover and want to feel like a little cake 🧁💕.

  • Obviously smells like salty popcorn. Personally, I hate it. I’ve tried it several times and still don’t like it.

  • What a perfume disaster… it smells like you forgot cookies in the oven and pulled them out burnt.

  • Loreamaranta

Curious and strong scent. Smells like sweet and salty dough at the same time; I perfectly sensed the popcorn right away.

  • Smells like a slightly burnt cookie just out of the oven. If you like gourmand scents, go for it. If not, better not.

  • What a delicious body splash! Smells like burnt caramel but feels exquisite, like flan. It’s a very original scent; I don’t know anything else like it. It’s super sweet, gourmand, and wearable all year round. As soon as I can grab it at a free shop, I’ll buy it, preferably in the large size.

  • aleejaa_sanzz

Smells like sweet popcorn, flan caramel, and Haagen-Dazs Salted Caramel. Ideal if you want to smell like a cookie just out of the oven. It’s an adolescent and playful scent, great for casual hangouts with friends or the boyfriend, not for special events. At first, the salty touch and burnt caramel stand out, but over time the essence fades a bit. Watch your用量: max one spray or it will overwhelm and make people nauseous.

  • What a delicious splash! Smells like creamy coconut, white chocolate, caramelized macadamias, sweet popcorn, and vanilla all at once. It’s the best from the brand. It just lacks longevity on the skin, considering it’s a splash and costs a fortune.

  • This scent transports me back to my vacation in Brazil: an afternoon in São Paulo with my architect cousin, hunting for popcorn in a 1940s neighborhood. The vendor had sugar, butter, and salt; we bought the cone and laughed like fools. When I found it in the duty-free shop, the 71 spray smelled exactly like that popcorn! Since then, I always test it in-store. I know my affection is for that memory, but I love it: it’s playful, asexual, and perfect for mild weather. I wouldn’t wear it seriously, but it steals a smile. Pleasant: 8/10 Interesting: 5/10 Versatile: 4/10 Original: 7/10

  • isaruggeri

Perfect for mixing with vanilla, caramel, or coconut; smells like freshly baked cookies on a full winter day.

  • I love it; I feel it smells like vanilla and caramel flan. If you’re not into sweet and gourmand fragrances, it might cloy you, but honestly, it’s super wearable; I’ve never smelled anything so delicious. It feels fluffy and warm; the coconut, macadamia, and white chocolate are literally all there; it’s literally this whole sweet bomb.

  • Maratenea

Very gourmand; I detect a lot of caramel, reminding me of caramel popcorn—that’s what I notice most along with a touch of vanilla. I barely smell the macadamia or chocolate; it seems very childish, like a fragrance for 10-year-old girls, although I like it. I expected to enjoy the chocolate more, but it’s very distant, and the same happened to whoever I let try it. Would I repurchase? Probably yes, but in a smaller size to enjoy it on special occasions. Longevity isn’t great; the trail is moderate right after application, but after half an hour, it drops significantly.

  • Smells very much like caramelized popcorn or popcorn, the caramel really stands out. I didn’t like it much, and it makes me hungry.

  • Vainillalau

Oh my god, this is so delicious. Smells like butter cookies with chocolate chips, like when you’re at the movies and smell the sweet popcorn aisle. It’s an insanely delicious caramel. For a mist, it lasts a long time; it’s exquisite.

Sol de Janeiro 71 – My Maria Cookie mist 🍪❤️. I don’t get how people hate this masterpiece. Some smell burnt popcorn, custard, or caramelized almonds, but to me, it smells exactly like Maria cookies. It’s just that: a warm, sweet, comforting mist like a freshly opened package. It’s a cozy, delicious gourmand bomb that makes you want to eat it! I own almost all Sol de Janeiro mists, and this is the one with the best longevity; it can last me all day. The best part: I get compliments constantly. I walk around and smell myself, so sweet and enveloping. The only downside is it’s not versatile for summer; you’ll die of heat! I only use it on cold or cloudy days; it’s become my go-to fragrance for those moments. I love it deeply. NOTE: 9/10

  • Allygattor

Beautiful. Smells like vanilla cookies with white chocolate. Works perfectly on my skin, though it might be overwhelming for some noses. It’s gourmand, sweet, full of vanilla and macadamia. Simply gorgeous, ideal for daytime and even more delicious on cold autumn or winter days. I deduct one point for longevity, but for touch-ups or layering, it’s spectacular.

  • Perfumadict

A super realistic gourmand that whets the appetite. Smells like homemade vanilla cookies dipped in melted caramel with coarse sea salt sprinkled on top. I’d love to use it to scent the kitchen, but not for myself. It’s very salty, not for everyone’s taste.

  • enfermadelgourmand

It’s not very complex, but the caramel note is insane and lasts forever. I’ve heard people say, ‘I’m hungry, it smells like popcorn,’ even though I sprayed it eight hours ago. If you want to stand out or do layering, it’s a must-have, plus it works great on hair. Over time, it stays static and simple: an intensely sweet burnt sugar that triggers hunger. People tell me I smell like caramelized almonds or vanilla. On hair, it lasts until the next day with the same intensity. I’m already on my second 90ml bottle.

  • albaricoques

I truly love this fragrance. It smells like freshly baked cookies and, unlike others, it doesn’t smell like popcorn to me. Despite being a mist, it lasts a long time, almost like a perfume, and especially on clothes, it lasts until I wash them. I recommend it if you like gourmand scents, sweet smells, and desserts.

  • I absolutely love it! Smells like macadamia cookies, kind of like the ones at Subway, and popcorn with lots of vanilla. The longevity and projection are excellent.

  • It smells like crème catalana with Maria cookies on top, all warm. I wanted something to wear with Super Milk (the conditioner), but I feel like Cheirosa 71 would overpower the scent, plus it’s totally gourmand. If you want to smell like a dessert, custard, and caramel, this is for you.

  • Very similar to Let the Good Times Roll by Lush, but here they swapped popcorn for macadamia nuts. In short, it’s quite salty caramel; if you don’t like things too sweet, it might overwhelm you.

  • cursedhazakura

My favorite from Sol de Janeiro. It’s the most gourmand, smelling of caramel and white chocolate. Impressive. Lasts quite a while, especially on clothes. I’m waiting to get my hands on the cream, gel, oil, and everything else!

  • I love it; it’s addictive. I bought it blindly because of the reviews and my love for sweets. The first time, I didn’t like it; it was too strong and had a weird smell, but after 5 minutes, I was already in love. I got used to it and can’t shower without applying it. It doesn’t last long on skin, but it lasts several days on clothes. I’ve already had to buy another one; I can’t live without it 🙂

  • It’s very controversial for me; on the first day, it seemed repulsive, like an unbearable caramel pop. But I gave it a chance. Once applied, I felt a warm, embracing scent, like a soft blanket on the skin—wonderful. A potent and unique vanilla; I loved it.

  • supergismar

I love sweets, but this is a disappointment. It smells like salty milk and I didn’t like it at all.

  • It’s amazing. Smells like Maria cookies with milk, churros, custard, white chocolate tart, homemade cookies, vanilla flan, and Häagen-Dazs caramel ice cream. Every time I use it, I get a craving for sweets. I think it’s not good for my physical or mental health, but I still recommend it.

  • It’s my top pick from Sol de Janeiro. Smells like cookies, caramel, and white chocolate; spectacular, very sweet, perfect for fall and winter, and one of the longest-lasting scents from the brand.
