I’m surprised to see so many good ratings for longevity and projection. In my case, less than half of a niche standard; being someone for whom many perfumes last 6-8 hours and bombs last 12 hours… so it’s ‘normal’. For me, it lasted skin-scent for a couple of hours with no projection, barely a few minutes, even though I applied a perfect milliliter to my neck and hands. Nothing. Zero performance. As for the scent, it’s a vanilla with sandalwood and styrax combined that smell like hazelnuts with vanilla and a hint of alcoholic liqueur at some point. At a price under 3€/ml and in a niche context, it’s not expensive… but with that performance, for me, it becomes prohibitively expensive to wear.

I’m surprised to see so many reviews praising its longevity and projection. In my case, it lasts less than half of a standard niche perfume. Many get 6-8 hours, and some last 12, but this fades to skin-level within an hour or so, with barely any sillage, just a few minutes, even though I applied a perfect milliliter to my neck and hands. Zero performance. The scent is a vanilla, sandalwood, and styrax blend that smells like hazelnuts with vanilla and a hint of alcoholic liqueur at first. Under €3/ml in the niche context isn’t expensive, but with that performance, it becomes prohibitively pricey for me.

  • I’ve smelled many perfumes in this segment, but none with such quality. I won’t break down the notes because it’s super linear and simple; the quality stands out here. It’s a resinous vanilla with an edible aroma; personally, it’s the best vanilla I’ve ever smelled in my life. Within the gourmand category, it’s in the top and at the pinnacle of quality. It’s on another level. Recommended to all vanilla lovers. Don’t be surprised if people want to eat you.

  • I’ve tried countless perfumes in this segment, but none come close to this quality. Forget about the notes; it’s super linear and simple—what shines here is the quality. It’s an avo-cinnamon resin with an edible scent, and for me, it’s the best vanilla I’ve ever smelled. Within the gourmand world, it’s at the pinnacle, on another level. Recommended to any vanilla lover. Don’t be surprised if people want to eat you.

  • I don’t know if I have a different batch, but this lasts less than a whisper and has zero projection. It smells delicious, but I think a VS body mist lasts longer.

Literally smells like cookie vanilla, but it lasts VERY little. I’m sticking with Eilish even though they aren’t the same. Eilish makes my day and this one only lasts two hours.

Sweet, gooey butter cookies, I love this scent, exquisite. Such a lovely, warm, cozy, gourmand, perfect aroma, I love, love, love. I also bought Cheroisa 71 blind since they say these are similar, and my nose agrees, so now I have both fragrances and a heart full of joy. Although for me, Cheroisa 71 doesn’t smell like goats but rather butter cookies, just like Accident à la Vanille.

Sweet, gooey butter cookies, I am so in love with this scent, exquisite. So cute, warm, cozy, so gourmand and perfect. I love, love, love. I also bought Cheirosa 71 blind because they said they were similar and my nose says they are; now I have both and my heart is full. Although for me Cheirosa 71 doesn’t smell like goat, but like butter cookies, just like Accident à la Vanille.

  • Literally addictive for lovers of cookie-style vanillas. It’s a super realistic and comforting cookie scent. I started with a 5ml sample and was enchanted, but it turned me off because it faded in two hours. However, when I reapplied it months later, it lasted many hours (I don’t know what’s wrong with me and some fragrances). Let me tell this to all lovers: there is a home textile diffuser called ‘Vanilla’ by Boles d’olor (the one with vanilla, hazelnuts, and macadamia nuts, watch out, there are two types) that costs about 10€ for 100ml. Don’t miss trying it, you’ll fall in love if you like Accident à la Vanille.

  • I love it, smells like butter cookies, very similar to Cheirosa 71. I ordered it as a more potent version, but it turns out to be quite weak; I don’t see any projection or longevity. It’s a shame because it smells delicious. I hoped it would improve with aging for autumn-winter. EDIT: 5 months later, it’s still very skin-scent. A pity, because it’s delicious, but I have to rub my nose into it to smell it, and even then… meh.

  • WHAT A PLEASANT SURPRISE! I was afraid so much vanilla would make it cloying and linear, so I ordered a decant without reading reviews. What a surprise: I’m sure there are undeclared notes. I detect caramel, milk, and a corn or popcorn note that reminds me of my SDJ Cheirosa 71, only this one is less ‘nutty’ and more creamy. A total delight for anyone who loves popcorn.

Addictive and elegant vanilla. Worth every milliliter of the bottle. Definitely unisex.

  • If there are many ways to wear vanilla, this is one of the rarest: creamy, almost like butter or a tin of Danish cookies. It starts caramelized, reminding me of that Zara Home candle (or its Mercadona dupe), and you might wonder if you want to live like this. But don’t panic, it becomes much more wearable once it dries. It’s a realistic yet delicate gourmand; it doesn’t scream like a Bianco Latte, and its trail and longevity are discreet (for me, it’s too short). It doesn’t stand out from similar scents, and combined with the fact that Jousset bottles are ugly, I wouldn’t choose it for my collection.
