Umm, smells great. A fragrance with woody notes, very fresh and youthful. It’s not heavy and is highly versatile. It just lacks a bit more longevity and projection, but the scent itself is very well done.
Hard to find, but I recommend it for its amazing quality-to-price ratio. The scent is exquisite and well-crafted, with a fresh, sparkling opening thanks to the unusual combination of lavender and bitter orange. A touch of pepper gives it that oriental vibe the brand is known for. After half an hour, subtle nutmeg appears. It evolves into a woody base, sweetened by marzipan and oud, which adds depth without being too serious. This broadens its appeal and moves it away from being strictly classic. The trail is reasonable, projection is mediocre, but it’s perfect for intimate enjoyment. It gets compliments for the first hour, then stays close to the skin. It leaves a lasting impression due to its personality. Timeless, though it fades outdoors at night. Ideal for autumn for me.
You can definitely detect the marzipan accord; it gives it a youthful and sweet touch. Even though it’s almost 20 years old, it smells modern—nothing sticky or cloying like today’s trends. It’s sweet, woody, and fresh. If it had better longevity, it would be incredible, but I love its intimate character. It’s perfect for dates, similar to D&G The One or YSL La Nuit de L’Homme. They aren’t similar scents, but they serve the same purpose. Very good.
