Descripción

Bonbon Pop by The House of Oud is a floral-fruity-gourmand fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2023, this composition features the olfactory signature of Douglas Morel. Upon opening, the scent unfolds with vibrant white peach, coconut, and bergamot; the heart reveals a harmony between patchouli and jasmine; while the base settles on notes of brown sugar, precious woods, musk, and amber.

  • Meh… I tried it and it barely smelled. I applied it a second time and it still smelled like almost nothing. From the tiny bit I could catch with a lot of effort, I mainly detected dried apricot with a somewhat dirty musk. Maybe a hint of creaminess from the coconut, but barely. Total disappointment. Don’t buy it blind.

  • I was fascinated by this beautiful, easy-to-wear scent that gives you an energy boost and lifts your spirits. It’s fruity, ambered, perfect, and lightly musky. The sugary note stands out without being overwhelming. It’s a very interesting gourmand option because it’s not excessively sweet or sharp. On my skin, it lasts over 8 hours with moderate projection. On me, the bergamot, white peach, and amber intertwine with the sugar dancing in the heart. The musk is just right. Ideal for any season. The coconut isn’t noticeable. A tribute to brown sugar, unisex but leaning feminine.

I absolutely hated it. I’m not sure if it just wasn’t macerated enough, but you have to press your nose right against the bottle to smell anything. It smells plasticky and just unpleasant. Luckily, I didn’t buy it blind.

  • It’s totally feminine and sweet, with sugar like Vie Est Belle but higher quality and different. If you like pachouli, you’ll love it, but if you don’t, run, because it’s very noticeable along with sugar, woods, jasmine, and a fruity touch.

  • Pachouli and more pachouli, maybe I’m exaggerating compared to others, but I definitely couldn’t handle Bonbon Pop. It opened with a natural but somewhat unpleasant pachouli for hot climates; maybe in another climate or with different florals it would be more bearable. But combined with peach, sugar, amber, and musk, it feels like a scent that doesn’t know what it wants to be and ends up being sweet, musky, and dirty. It gives the sensation of a sweet perfume when you’re sweating and walking through dry terrain. If you add that to a climate like this, I don’t see it as the best option.

  • More patchouli and even more patchouli—I might be exaggerating compared to other scents in the family, but I definitely couldn’t stand Bonbon Pop. It started with a very natural but slightly unpleasant patchouli note, especially in hot weather; it might have been more bearable in a different setting or with other floral notes. Combined with peach, sugar, amber, and musk, it ends up being a sweet, musky, dirty scent that doesn’t know what it wants to be. It gives off the feeling of wearing a sweet perfume while sweating and walking through dry fields. Add that to a climate that’s naturally like this, and I don’t see it as the best option.

Love compliments? Run for Bonbon Pop, it’s the most complimented perfume in my collection. People go crazy for it. It smells sweet, slightly woody, and to me, it’s like a Peach Cobbler. It’s warm, dominated by millions of peaches, along with sugar, jasmine, and precious woods. It’s one of my favorites; I’m already buying the second bottle and a refill. Perfect all year round, lasts over 10 hours on skin, and the projection is insane; people chase me asking what I’m wearing.

  • Powerful like few others, it’s a projection and longevity bomb. I didn’t expect anything and was pleasantly surprised. Honestly, I don’t feel it’s from another world. I tested it without reading notes or reviews and automatically thought it was a mix between Angel EDT and Scandal by Night. I loved it, but I don’t think it’s innovative.

The craziest blind buy of my life. It smells so gorgeous! I had it on my wishlist ever since I saw the bottle, and although I’m not a gourmand person, I jumped at the incredible price a friend offered me. Now I’m dying to have bought it sooner. It’s sweet but not heavy at all; brown sugar dances perfectly with the peach, which is the star here. Juicy, creamy, with a woody base that makes it a bomb for longevity and projection. I’m already obsessed.
