I think this is a clone of Bois de Yuzu by Miyake. The only difference is that here the citrus dominates with an herbal base, whereas in the original it’s the opposite. On my skin it was linear: started citrusy and herbal, then dropped into woody notes and vanished in about 3 hours. I saw it for $35, but for the scent and performance, Miyake is worth it even if it costs double. Nothing like Aqva by Bulgari.
More than a Bois de Yuzu, this should be labeled BOIS by Miyake, as it’s basically a clone or inspired by it. The only difference is that here Lagerfeld highlights the citrus with an herbal base, while in Miyake it’s the reverse: herbal with a citrus base. On my skin it was almost linear, with low-to-medium sillage, starting citrusy and herbal for a few hours, then fading into woody notes with some fluctuations before disappearing after 3 hours. I saw it for $35, but upon testing, Miyake is the better option: although it costs double, its performance and scent are superior. Nothing like Aqva by Bulgari.
Perfect for summer: fresh, clean, and ideal for the gym or a chill day out. It has that aquatic citrus vibe reminiscent of Voyage Sport, Curve Wave, or the Miyake line from Montblanc. Smells like pure air.
I love how fresh and citrusy it is at first, but the longevity has been disappointing.
It smells great at first with those citrus notes, but they fade quickly and the base lacks body.
It smells amazing right after application, very citrusy, but it fades quickly and the dry down lacks strength.
This is my first designer perfume; the scent is good, but nothing extraordinary. I paid $40 for the 100ml bottle and wouldn’t pay that price again; I’d wait for a discount or something similar.
It’s my first designer perfume; it smells good but isn’t anything special. I paid $40 for the 100ml bottle and wouldn’t do it again at that price; I would have expected a discount or something similar.
Excellent fragrance at an excellent price. It lasts me between 5 and 6 hours, acceptable performance. The yuzu feels very natural, and the dry-down is exquisite. If it projected a bit more, we’d be talking about a perfect perfume. If you like citrus with a touch of sweetness, it’s a blind buy.
Excellent fragrance at a great price. It lasts me 5 to 6 hours, which is acceptable performance. The yuzu smells very natural and the dry down is exquisite. If it projected a bit more, it would be perfect. If you like citrus with a touch of sweetness, buy it without hesitation.
Hello everyone, first off, this is a perfume that smells incredibly strong on everyone. It’s fresh, perfect for the heat; I even wear it in the cold and like it just as much. It projects well for about three hours, then stays in your personal bubble; if you want to be smelled, you’ll need to reapply, but that’s not a criticism since it’s priced reasonably. I paid around €25 for 100ml, a fair price, and the scent is great—one of the purest citrus ones I own, living up to its name with a very clear profile. As I said, longevity isn’t a dealbreaker for me; it’s just one feature. If it lasts longer, great, but I wouldn’t buy it solely for that. If it lasts 20 minutes, no, but 3 to 4 hours is fine. To wrap up, it’s a good fresh citrus perfume, the name does it justice, it’s a hit, and super fresh. I think you can buy it blind if you like citrus, like I do; it’s very unisex, ultra-versatile, and suits everyone, even the little ones at home. Cheers.
At first, it smells citrusy and sweet, like orange without strong acidity. It’s a flat scent with no complexity. After 20 or 30 minutes, the top notes disappear completely on my skin, leaving a flat odor that smells chemical and industrial—I really don’t like that phase. It happens the same on clothes, though it retains some of the initial sweetness. The sillage is weak to moderate, and the longevity is scarce. I think it’s unisex because it lacks defined gender notes. Overall, it’s available very cheaply, about a third of the price of other fragrances. I guess that’s why this happens in many cases.
In extreme heat over 35 degrees Celsius, it lasted 7 hours on my skin. I was really surprised by that.
I bought this blind for $18 and liked it. I’m a fan of citrus for daytime, and this didn’t disappoint: fresh and delicious, it reminds me a bit of the Issey Miyake, which I also adore. For the price I paid, it’s a 10/10.
I know the Issey Miyake well, and honestly, this isn’t that similar, except maybe in the dry-down since the opening is less sharp. It’s a rich fragrance for summer and everyday wear. Performance is acceptable, around 5 to 6 hours. Highly recommended.
I bought this blind, and once it dried on my skin, it reminded me a lot of Polo Sport—that fresh minty note that I love. I’ll keep testing it over the next few days.
If I had to pick a signature scent, it would be Issey Miyake, but Bois de Yuzu doesn’t even come close. Maybe the dry down, since the opening smells much less like pine needles than the original. It’s a rich fragrance perfect for summer and everyday wear. Performance is decent, about 5 or 6 hours. 100% recommended.
Just bought this blind, and once it dried on my hand, it reminded me a lot of Polo Sport. That fresh minty touch is really pleasant. I’ll keep testing it over the next few days.
I already own the Issey Miyake and looked for this as a cheaper option to use more often. They’re very similar, though this one is less sparkling and feels less youthful; however, the dry-down is perfect. It lasted me 6 hours with constant reapplication, ideal for daytime or the gym. I picked it up in Chile for $14 as a tester and it’s a 10/10.
I already own L’Eau d’Issey and grabbed this blind as a budget option for daily wear. They’re very similar, but this by Lagerfeld has a less sparkling and youthful opening; the dry downs are comparable. It lasts about 6 hours with constant sillage, ideal for working out or going out. I picked it up in Chile as a tester for $14, and it’s perfect.
Smells amazing in the heat and is almost identical to the L’Eau d’Issey I already own, but this Lagerfeld version is a bit softer on longevity and projection. Still not bad—in fact, if you love fresh citrus, grab it without hesitation.
