  Very smoky and spicy opening, especially that sharp black pepper. Then it darkens, becoming woody and extremely dry; patchouli, oud, leather, and woods are to blame. You can detect a bit of oakmoss if you look for it. At times it reminds me of Private Label or Dark Aoud, but without that medicinal edge (not saying they’re the same). From there, it doesn’t evolve further for me. I don’t detect amber or musk, though I’m sure they’re listed. Performance is contradictory: low projection but decent longevity at a low level. I see it as totally masculine and suited for cold weather. Personally, I didn’t like it; perfumes this dry just don’t captivate me, and there are mid-stage moments I genuinely dislike. It smells plasticky—nothing natural or pleasant. It has great reviews on forums and sites and’s considered one of the best incense perfumes, but honestly, it wasn’t for me. Still, it’s a must-try for fans of this style; others might appreciate it more.

  No love, no hate. Starts incense-heavy, then black pepper wraps around it before settling into a smokier profile; the oud adds wood, leather, and closes with patchouli-amber. It’s woody, spicy, and dry—it doesn’t offer anything new or exciting for me. Performance is good for fall/winter and evening wear. Lasts all day with moderate sillage.
