I have the minimalist version of the bottle, I would have preferred the previous version full of colors, but let’s move on to the white flowers scent that manages to evolve into a long-lasting jasmine for more than 8 HRS if you let the perfume macerate for a few months before using it, you’ll get a longer-lasting and finer scent, I like the perfume and the performance it gives me, I think it’s a springtime white flowers scent at a wedding full of guests and where jasmine is the star.
Blind buy. I didn’t know this version or the old one, but it had been calling to me for a long time… I still remember the TV ad, like Madonna’s “Love Profusion.” It’s very much a Calice Becker perfume, no doubt. Very floral and fresh, feminine, delicate and elegant. It smells of somewhat sweet white flowers, where jasmine and honeysuckle predominate. It also reminds me of the scent of night-blooming jasmine. Very spring-like and summery, with a clean smell. Does it remind me of a distant paradise?… yes and no… Actually, it reminds me more of an Andalusian courtyard at night than a distant tropical paradise. But that’s because the concept of “tropical” or “paradisiacal” we have today doesn’t match the concept from 20 years ago, which leaned more toward floral/green. So yes, we can say it’s exotic… or it was in its time. Since it’s a reformulation, the sillage and longevity are so-so. You’ll definitely need to reapply after about 3 or 4 hours. It reminds me a lot of the long-gone, 20 years ago, “Lily Dior”… I imagine it’s because of that load of jasmine and white flower. Unfortunately, this Estée Lauder is already discontinued. Shame on Estée Lauder… for letting something so well-made and beautiful fall into oblivion.
I don’t know if I don’t remember it well or if it’s about the moment, the age, but many years ago when this perfume was launched it was very famous, I remember it on par with Noa, in my memory it was better. Today that I tried this re-release in that plain 50ml bottle for 75 dollars in my country, I don’t dislike it at all, it’s a small slightly citrusy floral bouquet, there’s a note or combination in there that I don’t love, what surprises me is that it didn’t bring me a flashback, so I’m suspicious, I don’t know if of my memory or its faithfulness to the notes. Scent 8/10 Sillage 8/10 Longevity 8/10 5-7 hrs I would have liked the brand to have put in a bit more effort, to have made a memorable comeback, respected the bottle, the colors, put together some divine retro sets, nostalgia sells, many brands have made serious money exploiting our memories, bringing back those better times. From this same Estée Lauder family, at home we have Tuscany, whose notes I don’t love, it’s my mother’s, but the quality is good, it has very good performance.

I love the white floral scent that evolves into a lasting jasmine lasting over 8 hours if you let it mature for a few months first; it’s perfect for a spring wedding, though I wish the bottle had stayed colorful instead of being so minimalist.
I bought it blind and absolutely loved it: it smells of sweet white flowers, jasmine, and honeysuckle with that clean Andalusian patio vibe at night. It’s a very faithful remake, though the longevity is typical for today—I need to reapply every 3 or 4 hours. It reminds me a lot of the old Lily Dior; too bad Estée Lauder discontinued it.
I remember it as a classic from years ago, better than Noa, but this relaunch in the simple bottle doesn’t disappoint: it’s a floral bouquet with a citrus touch. I didn’t get that black flash I was expecting, but the scent is solid with 5-7 hours of longevity. I would have loved a more spectacular comeback with the original bottle and retro sets, since nostalgia sells so well.
