The first time I tried it I got a vibe of woody spicy leather—bitter yet sweet. As it settled it became more citrusy and reminded me without being too similar of Bal d’Afrique or Vetiver Tonka thanks to that sweet but earthy fruity vetiver scent. The opening note didn’t disappear but blended with the vetiver to create an energetic and mysterious combination. My first impression was great though I couldn’t explain what it smelled like until I encountered Etra and realized that captivating scent was roasted pepper. After researching I found that Fragantica’s note list is incomplete; Floraiku lists: grapefruit oil mate absolute vetiver oil cardamom essence Madagascar ginger grapefruit and red pepper. Now that I know what’s in it and after trying it several times I believe the opening is dominated by pepper (which I initially identified as leather) with cardamom and ginger adding a kick while the grapefruit provides a citrus touch. As it dries down the bitterness of the mate becomes more noticeable along with a fruitier vetiver. It’s an interesting perfume though the mix of pepper and vetiver grates on me a bit like putting lemon on an escalivada. It’s unisex for mid-season and any informal occasion projects well for the first hour then becomes a skin scent for about 8 hours. Pleasant: 6/10 Interesting: 8/10 Versatile: 7/10 Original: 9/10
A very gentle vetiver one of the best I’ve ever smelled. As always it makes you feel the woods green and earthy at the same time. It’s very soft and subtle. I can’t pinpoint the exact moment of its development but I suspect it’s shy. I love the scent; it’s one of the best from this brand. I’ll keep testing it.

A different take within the house’s usual delicacy. Based on the listed notes I was a bit thrown off. It’s a green fragrance that shifts its profile: opens with a concentrated intense and aromatic green citrus note also spicy. Within minutes that intense green tone relaxes into something fresher and brighter perhaps with tea. Vetiver takes the lead here—elegant woody with a bitter edge alongside a slight sweetness. The dry down is more earthy. It’s elegant refined and characterful intense relaxing and conveys peace. The projection and performance are moderate making it best for personal enjoyment. Versatile unisex and a real treat but as always this house suffers from exaggerated prices.
A different take within the delicacy the house typically draws. Based on the listed notes I was a bit thrown off. From start to finish it’s a green fragrance that varies its profile. It opens citrusy with a concentrated intense green the most aromatic and spicy face. Within minutes that intense green tone relaxes and I perceive something fresher and brighter perhaps tea. In this phase vetiver takes the lead: elegant woody with a bitter edge and a slightly sweet accord. The dry down is more earthy. In summary another fragrance with the house’s signature: elegant refined and with a special character. Being intense it relaxes me and conveys peace. With moderate projection and performance I see it as a fragrance for personal enjoyment. Versatile in use climate and unisex. A real treat but the usual: this house suffers from somewhat exaggerated prices. A pity.
Creates a tranquil and mysterious atmosphere. Fresh grapefruit meets earthy delicate and woody vetiver like a morning walk through the forest with a complex and deep spicy touch. The scent is stable and turns sweet at the end almost like a fruity caramel. The citrus note persists though perhaps a bit processed and is quite noticeable. There are hints of smoked resin. It’s interesting clear green-blue fresh and deeply clean though the price feels a bit inflated.
