  Beaver 2016 smells like floral ozone with a very clear animalic touch. It’s not annoying; quite the opposite, the musk is so ethereal it feels like prairie air with a distant castor note. After a few minutes, the leather appears—soft but with that initial animalic castor undertone. Then it softens into a sweet musk that lasts about eight hours with gentle bursts. It’s an ideal unisex scent for spring, fall, or cool summer evenings, perfect for dressing elegantly without being formal. It’s not for me, though, as it evokes a sophistication that doesn’t represent me, even if it could be the perfume for someone wanting to project that image.
