  Promising opening, woody, liquor-like, with an animal and herbal touch. The leather is noticeable, but it’s rough, nothing subtle or elegant; it has a lot of personality. Gradually the liquor fades and something synthetic, like gasoline, emerges. That base doesn’t convince me: it smells unnatural and simply isn’t to my taste. You can detect the oud and woods with a dryness. In the end, only the woods, that synthetic leather, and the gasoline afterimage remain. Performance is very good, with great initial projection and decent longevity, though in the last hours it stays close to the skin. It’s clearly masculine and for cold weather; in heat it can be overwhelming. Personally, I haven’t liked it, though maybe it could grow on me with time. I love the opening, but the evolution disappoints: it promised so much and then fades. I wish the liquor note lasted longer and that the chemical gasoline scent wasn’t so prominent. Still, it might appeal to those seeking strong, original scents. The price doesn’t help either, as there are more expensive options. I wouldn’t add it to my collection for now, but it’s curious enough to try.

  The olfactory experience is curious: it recreates the reference animal well, with thick leather and medicinal liquor, though as a perfume, I find it hard to wear.
