I just tried it and I’m glad the original version didn’t catch me. Aura, with its green notes, has a delicious and very wearable opening. It’s floral with light cinnamon; afterwards, the green from the original returns with sandalwood and musk when it dries. It lasts a long time and evolves well, winning me over in the first 2-3 hours. Maybe it’s not very groundbreaking, but it’s a scent I want in my collection. Surprisingly easy to wear for a Mugler, without lacking elegance or night vibes. Scent 9/10, Longevity 8/10, Sillage 7/10, Value 7/10, Versatility 7/10, Packaging 9/10. Would I buy it again? I will.
I recently tried this fragrance and it cured me of the bitter taste that the original didn’t convince me. Aura, while keeping its green notes, comes out with a delicious and very wearable scent. It’s floral with a distinct cinnamon note; then the typical green returns, joined by sandalwood and musk when it dries. It lasts a long time and evolves well, winning me over in the first 2-3 hours. Maybe it’s not very innovative, but I’d love to own it. Surprisingly easy to wear for a Mugler, without losing elegance or a night touch. Scent 9/10, Longevity 8/10, Sillage 7/10, Value 7/10, Versatility 7/10, Packaging 9/10. Would I buy it again? Yes, I will.
I tried it today and absolutely loved it. I noticed it on my wrist for about 4-5 hours, then a delicious vanilla note emerged. I just want to buy it now!
I tried it today and it’s a marvel. I noticed it on my wrist for about 4-5 hours, then it left a trail of incredibly rich vanilla. I already want to buy it.
I usually do almost a ritual before buying a perfume, but this convinced me instantly. It reminded me of a mint and lemon ice cream, ideal for summer.
I just received it, and what a difference from its older sister, Aura. This one is sweeter, more floral, and less green, though the green notes become noticeable after a while. It lacks that weird opening that I hated in Aura. Luckily, I got lucky buying it blind. For me, it’s wearable all day and in any season.
Just received it and what a difference from Aura. This one is sweeter and more floral, less green, though you do catch those green notes later. It doesn’t have that weird finish I hated in Aura. Phew. Buying it blind was a win. Wearable all day and in any season.
I bought it blind and it smells good, but it’s not a discovery or adds anything new. On my skin, it leaves no sillage and lasts about 2-3 hours; by the fourth hour, there’s nothing left, not even close to the skin. It shares that green tone with Aura EDP, but without the medicinal opening that many people dislike.
Great quality and performance. It’s very original and doesn’t remind me of anything else. While it’s categorized as vanilla oriental, to me it smells more green. It has excellent longevity and sillage like all Muglers, but it gives me a headache. If anyone wants it, I have it for a swap. I’ve only worn it once.
Great quality and performance. Very original and doesn’t smell like anything else. Although listed as oriental vanilla, to me it smells more green. It has excellent longevity and sillage, like Mugler. However, it gives me a headache. If anyone wants it, I have it for a swap. I’ve only worn it once.
I absolutely love it! It’s a fresh, sweet white floral with a green touch. Soft, yet it has good projection and longevity without being overpowering. Among my Muglers, this is the most calming one.
I love it! It’s a white floral and smells great. It feels warm and soothing, much more relaxed than the other Mugler perfumes.
I’ve loved it… it’s a unique scent; I don’t have anything similar in my collection. The only green note I notice is the cinnamon leaf, which smells like cinnamon but in green, what a redundancy… in the end, it leaves a vanilla (not gourmand), like a vein of vanilla… simply a divine fragrance…
It won me over at first sniff; it’s tender, warm, and romantic. Its scent is sweet and highlights that delicious herbal cinnamon very well; it has great performance. I loved it!
The perfect combination of white, green, and sweet, evoking a goddess born from the reflection of the moon in a drop of dew, it’s sensual, but has little sillage.
The perfect blend of white, green, and sweet. It evokes a goddess born from the reflection of the moon in a drop of dew. It’s sensual, but has a weak sillage.
Aura Sensuelle starts green and acidic, like Granny Smith apple, with cinnamon and a clean white musk (my favorite phase). Then the gardenia comes out, turning it into a musky white floral with cinnamon and that green base. Unlike other Muglers, it doesn’t leave a trail but a cloud that follows you, though that longevity is mediocre: about 5 hours on my skin. It’s pretty and feminine, ideal for spring and summer. Although the green/musk blend is original, it doesn’t reinvent the wheel. I agree with TierraMarie: its charm is being right on the edge between sweet (but not too much), fresh, and floral, resulting in a very attractive scent. What a pity it lasts so little and is limited edition. To my taste, it’s the best and most versatile of the Aura line. Pleasant 8/10, Interesting 6/10, Versatile 8/10, Original 8/10.

Minutes later, the gardenia takes over and becomes a musky white floral with touches of cinnamon and that green base. Unlike my other Muglers, it doesn’t leave a trail, but a cloud that accompanies you for its entire lifespan. This one is mediocre: about 5 hours on my skin. It’s a pretty and feminine perfume, an all-rounder for spring and summer. Although the green/musky blend is original, it doesn’t reinvent the wheel. I agree with TierraMarie: its charm lies in staying just between sweet (but not too much), fresh, and floral, resulting in being extremely versatile. Literally the sweet little sister of Aura, with that white dress and a sweeter scent. By removing the rhubarb and softening the green notes, it’s less aggressive for many noses. Although I prefer the impact, strength, and longevity of the original, this Sensuelle version is more floral with a sweeter vanilla, as if I did a layering between Aura and ten sprays of vanilla. By the way, I don’t smell any cinnamon. Longevity drops to about 4-5 hours on skin and projection is very short compared to its older sister.
On my skin, it’s very similar to Aura, but with much less longevity and sillage. It’s an undeniable flanker: if you have Aura, Aura Sensuelle is very dispensable, though with distinct nuances. It comes out with a slightly more citrusy/fruity point that gives it a different sweetness. As it develops, the white floral appears and the sillage starts to fade, getting very close to the skin, accompanied by a musky note that isn’t felt in Aura. Its green note is more moderate, tending towards herbal. I agree it’s a more subdued version of Aura. I bought it because I’m a huge Mugler fragrance nerd and I’ll use it in spring, which is the weather it suits. But I must say its longevity left me speechless; I’ll have to get a travel atomizer to reapply it at 4 hours.
Wow, I can’t start without a huge WOW 🤩. It’s a beautiful perfume and I got lucky to get an extra bottle of this wonder, though I can’t be impartial: I’m a fan of Mugler Aura and its discontinuation hurts. This Aura is 95% identical to the EDP; the remaining 5% is the slightly milky touch from the gardenias. The white flowers are so well blended that it doesn’t weigh down or overwhelm; the green touch is gorgeous, perhaps a bit lighter than the EDP. On my skin, I smell cinnamon, sweet and lovely, nothing invasive. It’s green notes, gardenia, and milky white musk with a pinch of cinnamon. I sense a light vanilla. I hope you get lucky and find a bottle; I would have loved the 90ml, but I have two 50mls and I’m happy. A wonder of this line. Scent 👃: 10/10, Longevity 🔋: 7/10, Sillage 🌬️: 7/10, Bottle 🏺: 10/10, Season 🌡️: 🍁❄️🌸⛱️, Usage: every day, especially mornings 🌅 and afternoons 🌆.
Give a thumbs up to those who love the Aura bottle but can’t handle its scent: here it is! I fell hard for that smell. OBSESSED! I wanted that bottle at all costs, but there was no way the Aura EDP would work for me. I tried, yes, I tried everything, but no. I like rhubarb, but in AURA it suffocates me. So, since there was nothing else to do, I found this version. It was a blind buy with high expectations and fear; the whole process generated anxiety until the bottle arrived. I can’t explain the happiness of trying it: IT WORKED! Eau de Sensuelle is much lighter and more wearable. It keeps the Aura DNA without that invasive rhubarb: white flowers with a green touch and the Mugler seal. I recommend it 100%. If you have TikTok, I invite you to see my reviews @estefybonham.
An extremely well-balanced white floral with green nuances. Delicate and refined. It reminds me a bit of Argentine candies called ‘Yapa’, those fruity drops that have that sweet/floral/fruity edge, neither 100% fruit, nor 100% flower, nor 100% vanilla; anyone who knows them will get what I mean. It’s not gourmand, but it has that vanilla-green trail, less wild than the Aura EDP. It’s a divine perfume I want to always have in my collection. The bottle reminds me of some Sailor Moon accessory, which is an obvious plus ❤️❤️❤️❤️.
My partner gifted me this bottle for my birthday, and to be honest, I bought it blindly just for the packaging… what a tragedy! I fell in love with the scent and discovered it’s discontinued. I use it with care and am desperately searching for something similar. It smells warm and green, but not like a plant, rather like a very sweet tea, perfect for autumn: imagine walking among dry leaves, in a café, or near a fireplace. The sweetness wins for me, almost gourmand, with a playful cinnamon that reminds me of candies, spiced tea with cake, or a cinnamon roll. It also smells like violet and vanilla drops. What reminds me of it most isn’t olfactively, but by the magic it evokes: Lolita Lempicka. It’s similar in soul, with that violet-vanilla dry-down, except if you swap the anise for cinnamon and make it warmer and sweeter like Aura Sensuelle. Please, let this perfume return.
