Aubade reminds me of several fragrances: at first, it’s spicy (clove) and potent due to the vanilla, resembling a dark Kenzo Le Parfum, but over time it softens, blooms, and becomes a twin to Kenzo Amour—lighter, without incense or resins. To that similarity, it adds a generous amount of dusty heliotrope, like Kenzo Amour Heliotrope, giving it a modern vintage finesse. I don’t detect the almond or rice mentioned in the notes. I really like it; although it lasts a long time, its skin sillage is low, but it performs better on clothes, like many others.
