Love at first sight, that’s exactly how I define it. As soon as I saw the packaging, I was blown away and didn’t even hesitate twice before bringing it home. Assel is sweetly delicious, lasts all day, and smells incredibly natural. It’s one of my favorite pieces in my collection because, without exaggerating, whenever I wear it, people can’t stop asking what it’s called, showering me with compliments wherever I go. With this, you’ll never go unnoticed. Regarding its similarity to Lattafa’s Ajwad, yes, they share some DNA and sometimes remind you of each other, but watch out: there’s no real comparison possible because Arabian Oud works with excellence and exclusivity. Among Saudi houses, this one and Abdul Samad Al Qurashi are my top picks, though I do own pieces from many other brands.
