  1. To me, this perfume is a dream come true: summer in a bottle, yet I wear it all year round. The quality of the notes and the blend is a perfect ten. It inspires journeys of discovery, though I’d say it smells straight out of paradise.

  2. Let me correct my previous comment: I was unfair. It’s not my style, but it smells delicious—fruity and cheerful. A bit typical, which is why many will love it; perhaps it’s a little loud. It’s incredibly potent and lasts until the next day. I have to spray it far from my nose, on my wrists, to enjoy it. Even though I usually wear unisex or masculine scents, this one feels too masculine for me.

What a delight! It’s my favorite from the house right now. It’s dethroned Kama and Otimo. It’s a fruity chypre: simple but effective. It innovates just enough, without taking risks, but you need to own it even if you already have others that remind you of this. What does it remind you of? It’s a hybrid between Hacivat (Aventus) and God of Fire. Imagine Hacivat with a handful of fruit, mostly mango. It has a fresh, sparkling top: ginger, grapefruit, and tons of pineapple. There are no woods, but the base of patchouli and vetiver gives that characteristic woody, wet, mossy touch of chypres. But this Anelo has something more, a ‘I know what I’m doing’ attitude that gives it character. I’m not sure if it’s a resin, but I’m obsessed. It’s a memorable scent and a standout in its category. It doesn’t reinvent anything; it just improves what already existed. Does it justify the purchase? It depends on your wallet and how much you’re feeling fruity/crazy. I’m crazy and poor as a rat, but it’s mine! haha! I’ll test the skin evolution and let you know.
