Ambre Latte by Essential Parfums: A Warm, Woody Gourmand

Essential Parfums introduces Ambre Latte, a new oriental woody fragrance created by Jordi Fernández. Launching in 2026, it's designed for both men and women.

The name evokes the creaminess of almond milk and the embrace of amber, grounded in a rich woody base.

Ambre Latte presents itself as an oriental woody fragrance, a family that blends the depth of resins and woods with a warm, sweet touch. The scent pyramid opens with a top note of almond milk, giving it a creamy, slightly gourmand texture.

In the heart, caramel, tonka bean, and vanilla reinforce the sweet, vanillic side, while the base unfolds woods like sandalwood, Akigalawood, Amberwood, Georgywood, and gaiac wood, alongside Ambrofix™, white musk, and benzoin. Together, they create a woody, slightly powdery, and musky foundation.

Perfumer Jordi Fernández, known for other creations from the house, signs this composition, which plays with woody, vanillic, amber, sweet, warm spicy, caramel, oud, almond, powdery, and musky accords. It's a complex yet approachable blend.

According to available data, Ambre Latte has an average rating of 3.81 out of 5, based on 577 ratings and 4 reviews. That makes it an interesting option in the Essential Parfums catalog, a brand known for delivering solid quality at a fair price.

Sillage and longevity aren't officially specified, but given the nature of the notes – woods, resins, and balms – it's likely to behave warmly and envelopingly, making it a good fit for cooler seasons or for anyone who wants a fragrance with presence.

Anyone who loves sweet yet sophisticated scents with a woody edge and a gourmand twist, especially for cooler weather or cozy evenings.

Ambre Latte is a solid pick for fans of sweet ambers and creamy woods. It's well-balanced, modern, and accessible within the Essential Parfums lineup.

At the opening, you feel a sophisticated almond milk. Then it settles and vanilla and sandalwood coexist all the time in a very harmonious way. It’s very balanced, sweet without being cloying. The sandalwood scent predominates for me, however it’s a creamier and more refined sandalwood. I applied one spray on my wrist 3 hours ago and it still smells and projects a lot. You can tell the quality of the perfume and I highly recommend it. Very unisex.

It arrived as a sample in an order of another perfume and I couldn’t wait to get home. Based on the notes, there was a high chance I’d like it: almond, tonka, benzoin… I loved it, it’s sweet but not too much, you can smell that vanilla but as a background, I love that persistence of woody and sweet resins. I can’t stop bringing my wrist to my nose. It’s not going on the wishlist, it’s going straight to the shopping cart. Oh! And I don’t think it’s only for winter, nor for 40 degrees, but the musky touch gives it a freshness that makes it wearable in spring and temperate climates, but definitely autumn is probably the best time to enjoy it.

  3. I just received it so my review is a first impression. It’s not what I expected but that doesn’t mean it’s bad. It’s in my opinion a mix of Akigalawood from Bois Impérial or Valaya with hazelnut and woods from Guidance and a darker caramel like Disumano from Morph. Right now it’s 40 degrees here and this is not a perfume for heat so I can’t appreciate it well. It’s quite serious, not youthful at all, and not very gourmand. It looks like it has good longevity.
