It has the base of Alien but it’s fresher, like baby powder. I would define it as a mix between Nenuco baby powder and Alien.
Another Alien that just didn’t work for me. It seems the lighter flankers of Alien aren’t my thing; they have something that doesn’t quite convince me. I don’t know why. I bought it in a moment when I wanted to collect all the Aliens, but I quickly realized it’s not worth it if you don’t use it. I’m keeping it to try later and see if my opinion changes, but for now, I’m still on the fence. I don’t think it’s a good idea to buy blindly just because you love the original. I absolutely love the original EDP, but this 2013 Aqua Chic version isn’t for me. I encourage you to try it before buying.
It was exactly what I thought it would smell like: baby powder + Alien EDP. I loved it and for a moment I couldn’t decide between the two; both got compliments from my family and friends. In the end, they gifted me a beautiful 6ml bottle of Alien EDP and I stopped buying Aqua Chic, though I’ll probably pick it up again this summer. Highly recommended.
