What a beast! I sprayed it on my jacket, washed it, and three weeks later (with a wash in between), it still smelled amazing. It’s one of the fragrances that has earned me the most compliments. That said… this is something you have to defend and know how to wear. You need serious personality to pull this off because you’ll be the center of attention. It arrives at the party before you do. Dark, leather, mysterious, slightly spicy. One of the best in my collection. Best for cold weather. Absolutely not for summer heat.

What a wild ride… I wore it on a jacket, washed it, and three weeks later, with a wash in between, it still smelled. It’s one of the fragrances that has given me the most compliments. That said… this needs to be defended and worn with style. You need a lot of personality to pull it off because you’ll be the center of attention. It’s the kind that arrives at the scene before you. Dark, leather, mysterious, spicy. One of the best in my collection. For cold weather, nowhere near summer.

Completely agree with @cesarmza; it’s surprising how different I notice it on every use, though the powerful leather and smoky woods are always present. I’m still discovering it, and it’s truly beautiful, dark, and mysterious. Just be careful with the potency because this is a real beast.

Totally agree with @cesarmza; it’s incredible how differently it smells on me every time I wear it, though that powerful leather and smoky woods are always there. I’m still discovering it and find it gorgeous, dark, and mysterious—just be careful with the potency because this is a dark beast.

Like its sister Maghateer, the perception of this fragrance changes every time I wear it. Al Bashiq is powerful, imposing, and expansive, and I can’t stop noticing it even after 10 hours. But each time I wear it, I sense a different note taking the lead. Once it vaguely reminded me of Interlude, other times Ombre Leather, and other times an undefined scent where any of its 60 notes could stand out. HYPOTHESIS: Given the high quality of the notes, the ones with the best performance based on ambient temperature and humidity tend to dominate. Also, human perception changes daily, so I factor those conditions in. CONCLUSION: A unique fragrance, not for everyone. It surprises you and never gets boring.

I just received it, so these are my first impressions. You have to let a perfume rest for a few days after shipping; agitation doesn’t agree with perfumes. My first impression was: wow! If you like leather perfumes, this is one you must at least smell. I was impressed by the number of twists and nuances I felt shortly after applying it. When it’s rested and a bit oxygenated, I can’t even think about the festival this will be. In a few days, I’ll update my review. Obviously, with this perfume, you’re not looking for compliments. This is an intimate, personal, and intransferible sensory experience for someone seeking emotions through such a primary and wonderful sense as smell.

Today I wanted to ride my bike into the city, stop at a mall, and sniff the new Dior Homme Parfum (by the way, it’s still not available in physical stores at Druni or Primor). I thought it would be a good moment to grab this Al Bashiq and wear it with moderation, since I wanted to try and smell other perfumes. So I sprayed only 4 times (unusual for me, as I never go below 8): one on each side of my neck and two on the back of my hair. The entire trip there was overwhelming with the leather of this bad boy. The anecdote happened when I was at Primor (with the mix of smells in a cosmetics store); from afar, a girl told her friends, “Quilla, it smells like leather here!” As I walked, I got hit with continuous bursts of the perfume; I stopped for a moment and a cloud of green, smoky, resinous leather wrapped around me. On the way back on the bike, I was again overwhelmed by the leather scent, feeling just as intense as on the way there. It’s been over 6 hours since I applied it, and it still has the same intensity and projection as the beginning. Two sprays would have been enough, and I probably would have been able to better discern the notes arriving at my nose. If you like leather notes, this is the wildest thing I’ve ever tried. This Al Bashiq by Nabeel is an unleashed beast mode.

Just arrived, so these are my first impressions. A perfume needs a few days to settle after travel; movement doesn’t agree with it. My first thought was: wow! If you like leather notes, this is a must-try. The number of twists and nuances I noticed even with a light application is impressive. Once it’s settled and oxygenated, I dare not think about the festival it will become. I’ll update the review in a few days. Obviously, with this, you’re not looking for compliments. It’s an intimate, personal, and untransferable sensory experience for those seeking emotions through such a primary and wonderful sense: smell.

This Perfumaso deserves this lovely Arabic poem: In majestic flight atop the burning desert, where the sun kisses the golden sand, the falcon soars, proud and brave, with wings cutting the sacred breeze. Its gaze, a flash of fire, observes the world with ancient wisdom. Carrier of dreams, fearless hunter, in its free flight, freedom shines. With the wind as a faithful ally, it traces paths in blue skies. An eternal symbol, a king without a crown, in the dance of the air, whispers and lights. Oh, noble falcon, untamed spirit, you rise above lands of history and passion. In every heartbeat, in every instant, you guard the echo of our tradition.

For now, with just a few chords, I dare to share my sensations. It’s a fresh leather perfume. I wouldn’t say green; rather, a sparkling leather, like many Arab perfumes. It gives the impression that it could be very versatile. I dare say it’s a bit like the opening of In Extremis by Astrophil & Stella. But it stays there, and personally, it gives me a headache. I don’t know if it’s due to the quality of the ingredients, the lack of evolution of the fragrance, or that sparkling leather note, but it literally makes me feel sick. It’s a pity, because genuinely it’s a perfume that smells good, lasts a long time, and is very cheap.

I don’t understand why this perfume isn’t talked about more. As Frank Fragrance says, it’s one of the few that’s touched it. This is a true dark beast from the same Dubai house that makes The Spirits of Dubai, a jewel that almost rivals an Amouage, as I wore it side-by-side with my Intelude Man and they were on par. It’s complex, dark, and opulent, hard to grasp due to its many notes, seeming like several perfumes in one. Inspired by Arab desert eagles and their journey to their master smoking tobacco on a plain with trees, featuring leather and sweet nuts for the eagle. It’s for personal enjoyment and for those who don’t care what others say—rebellious and free like the eagle; when you wear it, you feel the journey of this majestic bird. The experience is grand; I wear it to sleep and it lasts all night, revealing layers and facets of scent, always finding something new. Once you try it, other perfumes like Intelude Man or Dior Homme seem like colognes or baby powder—it’s brutal, a beast. I recommend it only to those who love mysterious perfumes with lots of incense, oud, tobacco, cypress, and eucalyptus, lots of amber, something sweet like nuts, rose, lavender, and citrus. So complex that it’s sometimes hard to describe. I also know there’s a flanker with a green bottle; does anyone know it? Hoping to get my hands on it.

This fragrance is exactly the same as a Lattafa I have in my collection called Al Areeq Silver from the Pride line. It’s a complicated scent to wear; I can’t find an occasion to wear it. I use it at home for personal delight. The aroma is basically powerful, herbal, and smoky leather with a smell very similar to the formaldehyde used in dissection. It’s not friendly at all. I don’t recommend buying it blindly. In fact, given the price, I recommend the Lattafa version, which is the same thing just in a different bottle that isn’t bad at all.

Here we have a great perfume. Without looking at its price, which is quite reasonable around 45-50 euros, we find a scent that radiates quality. It’s dense, oriental, and dark. If you like scents like Black Incense by Chopard but more intense and with greater complexity, you’ll like this. One could say it’s this same Chopard but improved and niche. I can’t detect all its notes; there are too many, but the whole is magnificent, incredibly good, suitable only for trained noses. I also use it in autumn and winter, always with cold. High projection and longevity. Scent: 10, Projection: 8.5 with 5 sprays, Longevity: 12 hours on skin and weeks on clothes. I recommend it mainly for quality, but it’s also cheap.

Al Bashiq by Nabeel: A dense fragrance with a dark, mysterious allure. It smells like the underworld—bourgeois and opulent, radiating dominance and distinction that you can’t ignore. While I couldn’t pinpoint every note, the leather blends beautifully with precious woods, and the amber adds warmth that ties it all together. It’s a rare mix of passion and cemetery horror, featuring withered roses and coffin wood deep within the earth. A strange beauty representing our inner darkness, the essence of shadows. It has a spiritual, profound personality; it’s not for everyone, so test before buying. Scent: 10. Projection and longevity: good. Recommended.

Al Bashiq by Nabeel: An abundant fragrance filled with dark charm and mysterious appeal. A scent designed to stand out—the pure smell of the underworld, bourgeois and opulent. Packed with dominance and distinction. I couldn’t detect all the notes, but the leather pairs perfectly with precious woods, and together with the warmth of the amber, they become the stars that harmonize with the rest. It’s an uncommon blend of passion and cemetery terror, featuring withered roses and old, coffin-like wood deep underground. A strange beauty representing the darkness within us. A fragrance that sees no light, the essence of shadows. It holds a spiritual, deep personality. Not for everyone. Test before buying. Scent: 10. Projection and longevity: good. Recommended.
