  • Okay, let me start by saying this fragrance is complex and uncommon. It smells like leather, type Gucci Guilty Absolute, with incense, a herbal touch, and a background of burnt plastic (tolerable). I don’t know when to use it. I like different smells and I was surprised. I’ve worn it a couple of times but haven’t received compliments; on the contrary, people told me I smell very weird. I don’t care, I’ll keep wearing it to chat with men and project roughness. Don’t use it on romantic dates, because it’ll be the last time they see you.

  • To start, it’s a complex and uncommon fragrance. Smells like Gucci Guilty Absolute leather with incense, a herbal touch, and a background of burnt plastic, though tolerable. I’m not sure when to wear it, but I was surprised by how different it is. I’ve worn it a few times, and instead of compliments, people told me I smell very weird. Whatever, I’ll keep wearing it for guy chats and projecting toughness. Forget romantic dates; that’s the last time they’ll see it.

  • Review of Al Areeq Silver by Lattafa: The opening is bright and barely sweet, with apple and cardamomo. That sweetness lasts about 8 minutes before abruptly giving way to a base of tobacco, leather, and soft oud. It feels dry, slightly bitter, and with a ‘dirty’ touch. It reminds me of when my grandfather came back from maintaining his trailer without wiping off the grease. It has a masculine character, with lavender, cypress, patchouli, and musk. The combo is linear until the 6-hour mark, when it’s barely noticeable. It has moderate sillage but is perceptible. We’ll see if letting it settle improves longevity. Key notes: different, rough, dark, nocturnal, dirty, bittersweet, masculine, mature, dry, herbal. Rating: 7.

  • Review of Al Areeq Silver by Lattafa. Opening is slightly bright and barely sweet: apple and cardamomo are noticeable. That fleeting sweetness (about 8 minutes) gives way abruptly to a base of tobacco, leather, and soft oud. ‘Dry’ notes, slightly bitter, with a ‘dirty’ touch. In my subjective experience, it evokes when my grandfather finished maintenance on his trailer and came to eat without cleaning the grease off. It has masculine character. Accompanied by herbal nuances (lavender, cypress), patchouli, and musk. The combo remains linear until the end, noticeable at 6 hours. It has moderate sillage but is perceptible. We’ll see if resting improves longevity. Keywords: different, rough, dark, nocturnal, dirty, sweet-and-sour, masculine, mature, dry, herbal. Rating: 7

  • It’s a very intense perfume, not suitable for everyone. It’s a strong leather with very marked musk notes; imagine what a bomb! A difficult scent to digest; you have to give it time to adapt. I liked it, but almost no one in my circle liked it, so I don’t recommend a blind buy. I consider it suitable for cool climates or places; otherwise, it will be very bothersome. I recommend it for older people.

  • It brings me sensations of Guilty Absolute, No Limits. It’s a bad biker, a Mad Max movie tough guy. Rough. It’s not for compliments; it’s for those seeking an adventure of chords and notes.

  • I acquired both Al Areeq Silver and Gold. I liked both. They are similar in the opening, but the Gold develops more and you can feel the vanilla more (making it more usable). One could say the Gold is better, but the Silver is more of a ‘bad boy,’ macho man, rough type. Predominant aroma of a mechanic’s garage, ideal for rockers, motorcyclists, or those with leather/skin clothing. Excellent longevity and projection. *Edit: I forgot to mention it has a great resemblance to Acqua di Parma Leather EDP.

  • Smell before you buy; ultimately, it’s not for everyone or every occasion. I tried to understand it, but it just doesn’t end up pleasing me. I haven’t received compliments; on the contrary, most who smelled it didn’t like it, some even said it smells like stagnant water from two weeks ago. (Note: assuming it’s original and hasn’t expired).

  • Smell before you buy. In short, it’s not for everyone or every occasion. I try to understand it, but it just doesn’t end up pleasing me. I haven’t received compliments; on the contrary, most who smelled it didn’t like it, and some said it smells like stagnant water from two weeks ago. Clarification: if it’s original and hasn’t expired. 😅😅😅

  • I don’t know the Chopard they mention, but I know Gucci Guilty, and it’s 95% similar in the dry-down. The opening smells like green apple with tobacco and lavender; after 15 minutes, it shifts to leather with tobacco that gives a dirty leather nuance. It’s a masculine and intense aroma. I see it for someone over 35, to wear at night and outdoors.

  • An absolute masterpiece. After letting it rest for months in the box and in the shade, all the notes stand out, highlighting the cypress with leather and dry tobacco like Black Habano, plus a subtle animal oud touch. It lasts many hours without getting boring, evolving and projecting for at least 4 or 5 hours. It transports me to walking through an immense cypress forest in autumn, without humidity, with sun rays warming the bark and branches. An intense resinous aroma of wood, dry leaves, and non-sweet tobacco. Notes of wild fauna, cured boots, and leather tools for gathering firewood. Smells like a high conifer forest, large trunks, rough leather, tobacco, and wildlife. It’s a delight.

  • An absolute masterpiece. After letting it rest in its box and shadow, the notes become distinct: cypress stands out with leather and dry tobacco, black habano, and a subtle touch of animalic oud. It lasts incredibly long without getting boring, evolving and projecting for 4 to 5 hours. It transports me to walking through an immense cypress forest in autumn, without humidity, with sun rays warming the ground of bark and branches. It smells of wood, dry leaves, dry tobacco (never sweet), cypress branches, animalic flashes of wildlife, boots, and cured leather accessories, like those of a logger. It’s a delight: a forest of tall conifers, large trunks, rough leather, tobacco, and wild fauna.

This is for rough-around-the-edges guys: leather vest, boots, Marlboro Red, some biker or rocker with personality. If you’re a Godin who used strawberry and cream vapes, look for something friendlier and unisex like Bahara King or Art of the Universe. The opening is a treat of tobacco, apple, and lavender; it’s a green, rich scent that shifts in minutes to a rough leather vibe similar to Gucci Guilty Absolute. It’s like smelling the leather jacket of your late grandfather, who smoked, kept in storage for 20 years.

I revisited this product page to share my opinion after more than a year of ownership. Heads up: this isn’t for everyone, certainly not for most young guys, and definitely not if you’re looking for compliments from girls; in fact, it might have the opposite effect. If you’re a real man with potent masculine energy and alpha character, this could be yours. But use it carefully, as it’s not suitable for dates or social gatherings—I say that because it really has limited daily use. If you fit the profile I described, buy it without fear; it costs between $20 and $35 and is a safe blind buy. If they charge you more, look for something better polished and more renowned. I speak clearly without lying, as always in my videos. Welcome! (aromasyemociones)
