I’ve been wearing Rosendo Mateo 2010 on my wrist for an hour now, and frankly, it’s spectacular for anyone who loves chocolate, woods, and spices. I just tested a sample of this version, and so far, it seems like another incredible masterpiece. At first, I thought it was like a version of No. 5, and interestingly, Fragrantica links it to that one first—I also have a sample of No. 5, and my nose prefers it. But regardless, they’re all wonderful. You should try the 2010 because the nuance is what makes the difference; maybe testing both will help us figure out which one we like more. The 2010 is beautifully rounded, deep, and absolutely delightful for cold months—I loved it. It has a tiny, tiny note that I can’t quite place, but it reminds me a bit of the classic Armani Code.
