  Chapter 1 of the Tuberose Lovers: a new and brilliant perfume by master Rosendo Mateu, published posthumously and centered on the flower. It starts with a very clean, fresh, and luminous neroli scent with green stems, feeling super natural. Then it evolves into a woody, slightly spicy base that stands out (only at the very end) against the florals, setting it apart from classic neroli fragrances. Although unisex, it’s in that final phase, after some time on the skin, that, in my opinion, it becomes especially bold, original, and addictive for men—inviting closeness because it projects well at arm’s length and in bursts for hours without the wearer even noticing. On a man, it conveys a lot of personality, naturalness, transparency, reliability, and discretion. It’s an enveloping aura of silent luxury, without artifice. Note: you must like white florals and rose; if you’re a man with prejudices against those notes, this is not for you. Don’t expect beast mode. It has medium-to-discrete projection and trail, lasting about 6-7 hours on the skin.
