Starts with powerful citrus notes, but soon mellows into limey florals with a sharp, tangy twist—really lovely. I’d call it more of an aquatic citrus than a white floral. The lotus shines in the heart, keeping that dusty floral vibe while holding onto the citrus. It’s fresh and invigorating, like cold wind softened by the aquatic sweetness of lotus, which tames the chill. As it settles on the skin, the woods gain strength without losing freshness or that nice tartness; the dry down is gorgeous: ambered sandalwood, sweet and distinctly woody. One of my favorite endings—I have 10 ml left and don’t want to finish it. Longevity is excellent, around 10 hours with heavy application. It might sound familiar to L’eau d’Issey Miyake, but they’re not that similar. If you like Issey for the lotus, you’ll probably like this, or if the original’s out of your budget, this is a great alternative. I don’t think it’s a clone. On Fragrantica, some compare it to CK One. Sure, they share that freshness, but CK One is way more woody, while Stay has those sharp, juicy citrus notes and that aquatic lotus character, so they’re not really close.

Starts with powerful citrus, but quickly shifts to limey florals with a sharp, tangy edge—super cute. I’d label it more an aquatic citrus than a white floral, as the accords suggest. The lotus really comes through in the heart, without losing that dusty floral quality or the citrus presence. Overall, it’s fresh and energizing, like cold air warmed by the aquatic sweetness of lotus, which breaks up the chill and adds warmth. That lotus note gives it a unique character. As it sinks into the skin, the woods take over, staying fresh with a slight tartness, though the sharp acidity fades away completely. The dry down is beautiful! Ambered sandalwood, sweet and unmistakably woody. One of my favorite endings across my entire collection. I’ve got about 10 ml left and can’t bring myself to finish it… Longevity on me is outstanding, roughly 10 hours (with a generous initial application). I get why some might find it reminiscent of L’eau d’Issey Miyake, but I’m not sure they’re that similar… If you love Issey, you’ll likely enjoy this too (thanks to the lotus in both), and if the original isn’t in your budget, this is a great substitute… But I don’t think it’s a clone… On Fragrantica, people compare it to CK One. True, they share that freshness, but CK One is definitely more woody, whereas Stay is drenched in those sharp, juicy citrus notes and that aquatic lotus vibe, so I don’t think they’re all that close…

This perfume is incredibly rich. It’s an eau de toilette, yet it lasts forever—I mostly wear it in winter because in summer the trail disappears almost instantly.
