Powdery floral scent, sweet but not dessert-like, with jasmine and fresh almond notes. It reminds me of an older woman who hasn’t lost her tenderness, still believing in love and romance. An underrated gem: strong yet soft, sweet and tenacious.
My number one fragrance and my go-to perfume for years; I haven’t found anything I like more. What a shame they stopped producing it. 10/10.
I picked it up on eBay and used it throughout my trip to Disney, so it instantly transports me back to that memory. It’s half vintage, reviving the scents of the past, which I love. It’s not overpowering, has a good price, and acceptable longevity; smells delicious and feels like a personal treat on the skin. I bought it blindly because I’m an Alien fan, but it’s nothing like it, though it works well; it’s like a cousin to Armani Code, are they cousins? It’s 12 years old. I found a very similar blush version but with a modern twist.
An incredibly rich and sexy perfume. Whenever I wore it, people would ask what it was, and I wouldn’t say because the name itself was an invitation, haha. What a shame it’s not around anymore.
I found a sample and it caught my attention; it seemed vintage despite not being that old (2012). It reminded me a lot of the dry-down of CK Eternity or JPG Classique.
I’d wanted to try it for years, but since it’s discontinued, it was almost an impossible mission. I was always drawn to the bottle and the notes, then it became quite an odyssey until I found a supplier with a sealed 80 ml bottle, and I bought it on the spot. At first, I didn’t love it because petit grain isn’t my thing, but the charm lies in its phases: it doesn’t feel flat; every time I smell it, it evokes something different. It goes from a medium green acidity to a fresh, coquettish floral, finishing with a creamy sweetness on clothes. Grateful I got it, and I hope Cacharel keeps releasing fragrances like this.
This perfume is divine. I loved it from the TV ads, and needless to say, when I tried it. What a pity they discontinued it. Luckily, I still have an 80 ml bottle that I cherish more than my life. Many say it resembles Alien; maybe it has a slight vibe, but I find it more similar to Olympea Aqua EDP Legère. Anyway, they’re different, so don’t expect them to be the same. Catch Me is soft, delicate, and slightly sweet without being cloying. It smells of jasmine, orange blossom, and a hint of almond milk. You can buy it blindly; you’ll surely like it.
A signature perfume that says nothing. It’s pleasant, plain and simple. I bought it because it was on sale.
I’ve always loved D. Ropion’s creations, and this is one of them. With a sweet citrus aroma, it evolves into white flowers mixed with whipped almond cream on an amber base. I remember the scent was striking, distinct, and exotic. That creamy phase with intense flowers made Catch a sensual and enveloping fragrance. With extreme longevity, its beauty intensified as the hours passed. Today I found a very well-preserved sample, and it’s truly gorgeous; we’ll have to track down where to find a bottle to ‘catch’ it again.
An exquisite aroma, incredible longevity, and great sillage. I love this fragrance so much that I use it sparingly so I don’t run out, especially now that I know it’s discontinued. The almond gives it that characteristic sweetness without being cloying.
I’m still saving the last little bit as a keepsake; I love it. Catch Me is undoubtedly one of my favorite perfumes. I’m still searching for an identical scent or something very similar.
Catch Me by Cacharel has this certain something—I don’t know what it is… It opens with a citrusy, slightly green mandarin and a sweet, enveloping note of almond and jasmine that complements that sweetness without being cloying. The almond isn’t as overpowering as in Hypnotic Poison EDT, yet it stays fresh. In fact, Yes I Am has something that reminds me of this in the sweet part, though they aren’t the same; it’s a similar vibe. I think it was one of the brand’s first sweet scents, right when gourmands were trending. The bottle is a diva; the cap looks like a colorful metallic flower. I have the 30 ml version, and it’s gorgeous being so small, almost a miniature. I didn’t experience the 2012 launch (a period with low interest in perfumes), but I remember the hype Cacharel had in the 90s. While I love perfumes from this house, unfortunately, except for Eden and Lou Lou, they don’t last long on me. I don’t think I’ll buy it again given other options, though I do enjoy it.
I found a 50 ml bottle at a steal of a price with very little use… wow, what a pity it’s discontinued. Let me start by saying it doesn’t resemble Alien EDP; it’s not that sharp jasmine… It opens with a juicy mandarin leading into a sweet, tender, almond-y, creamy jasmine with a milky, addictive touch; the orange blossom balances the sticky sweetness the jasmine can take on. After five hours, a bit of amber emerges, making it a more nocturnal jasmine. Longevity and projection are low to moderate depending on sprays (I use 8 to project as I like and last more than 8 hours).
What a delicious perfume! I love it from the opening to the dry down. From the very first moment, you feel a sweet but non-invasive citrus. Then it settles into a jasmine-almond-sweetened scent. It can be worn any time of year; right now in my country the temperature is moderate, and it feels great to wear. While it’s versatile, I’d use it for late afternoon to evening because it’s like a nocturnal jasmine thanks to the almond and wood notes, with a mysterious touch. Creamy dry down with warm hints. It’s sweet but not cloying, as if the sweetness is in just the right dose. The bottle is beautiful. But it’s not purple like in the photo; it’s silver with amber liquid. I thought the cap detail was lovely, with just one of the metallic beads popping out. I only managed to get a small bottle; it’s hard to find in my country, so I hope to buy it again. It was a blind buy, and I loved it.
Dominique Ropion working his magic! It’s a fantastic, sophisticated scent with a sensual, even mysterious touch. It doesn’t remind me of any other perfume. I’ve read it’s discontinued, and I find that a shame. I adore its mandarin opening; I think most of my favorite perfumes carry this note. It’s a nuanced fragrance; the dry down is spectacular: almond milk and woods. I bought it blind, and I kept repurchasing it. Longevity 8, sillage 7. Time of year… totally versatile.
I want it to be adorable, romantic like the Cacharel house; it feels like a purple scent to me.
To me, it’s like Olympea but without the saltiness.
At one of my jobs, there was a colleague who wore this perfume and had excellent sillage and longevity. It smelled amazing—sweet—and reminded me a lot of Alien by Tom Ford.
What a pity I didn’t discover it sooner, what a shame it’s discontinued… Today, during the lockdown in Spain, I decided to clean my miniature shelf. This little bottle jewel caught my eye, so I tested it on my wrists. What purity, what sense of calm; it has soothed me during these nervous times. I agree with other reviews; it has an Alien touch, and for me, it’s very close to Valentino Donna, especially the Acqua version. An absolute delight, even though I’m not a huge fan of the brand.
I had it in my adolescence and loved it. I notice it’s very similar to Ultraviolet, but softer and fresher.
It’s a heavenly, youthful, and precious fragrance. What a shame it’s no longer sold or produced. It’s sweet and very original, nothing common. A true delight.
A sweet, feminine, and cheerful scent with moderate to heavy sillage and lasting over 12 hours (at least on my skin). It’s flirtatious; my male friends liked it, and my boyfriend loved it. I remember keeping a jacket I wore in winter and putting it on in summer, and it still smelled like perfume. What a pity they discontinued it; it was my favorite.
Although it has the notes that suit me best, the final result is different. It maintains a Cacharel old-school DNA, like a mix between Lou Lou and Anais Anais. I tested it in cold, humid weather at 10 degrees, and it smelled like wet grass and powdered almonds. I’m turning on the heater to see if it works better in dry heat. Edit: Nothing but powdered almonds and musk, amber sweetness, and a touch of orange blossom. Very Cacharel, not my style. Like all the brand’s classics, I prefer them when washed down and toned down.
Adorable little bottle that decorates any space. A flirtatious, sweet, and almost innocent fragrance. Everything is soft: its lines, sillage, and longevity. It starts slightly citrusy and gradually turns almond-like. On my skin, it leaves a sweet, sugary violet scent. I wish it lasted longer, but it’s a beautiful bottle for my collection.
Catch me if you can! It already caught me. I’ve been wearing it since 8:30, and it’s 3:30 now, and it’s still there. I don’t understand how I could have had it so long without opening it, haha. The citrus opening lasts five minutes, then the jasmine comes in. The almond milk provides the sweetness throughout the entire development. I don’t know when it will fade; I’ll let you know later. It’s very pleasant and cozy, what a shame it’s discontinued.

I love it; it’s a fragrance for which I own several bottles, and I definitely use it daily, day or night, even for special occasions. Very sparkling and with character.
They gave it to me, and I think it’s quite nice… I guess it’s the last decent one before the Amor Amor and that one with the weird smell in the lipstick-shaped bottle. It has very distinct phases and reacts easily to personal pH. For me, it takes time to develop the middle floral phase, but the base notes last a long time. The bottle is beautiful, though somewhat puzzling.
It smells identical to Alien… am I the only weird one?
I like it, but it doesn’t drive me crazy. It’s true that it’s sweet and lasts a bit. I bought it because my sister-in-law had it and I got it on promo. But for the price, without a doubt, I’d prefer to buy something else. In general, Cacharel perfumes seem very common to me.
