ZARA vanilla bourbon No. 10,000. I don’t know what it is about this note in the house’s fragrances, but it makes almost all of them smell the same to me. Another one that could easily be placed in the “Vanilla Collection,” but with a bit more quality. Honestly, as the reviewer below said, the perfume delivers on the vibe it promises: a nighttime cologne, geared mainly toward dates and similar summer nights. I see the other guys are classifying it as something for winter or autumn… I don’t know, to me it seems too soft or weak to do much at all in colder climates, but oh well. It’s a 100% gourmand for summer or milder temperatures. Setting aside the vanilla (which I think is what people like about it), the perfume falls a little short (like I said at the beginning; ZARA pushes that note to infinity, and to hell with the rest). It’s fine, but it’s nothing to write home about. A men’s fragrance TM that smells good. Projection and performance are pretty good (I didn’t need to reapply, and it lasted well for 6-7 hour outings). The sillage is SUPER sheer, nothing like its counterpart in the collection (Moonrise on the Horizon Intense), which seems more like an AXE deodorant than an EDP. What I always say about this type of fragrance: for the price, it’s fine, whether on a budget or because you don’t want to spend money on a cologne or perfume, but it’s also not something I’d say “RUN TO GET IT” about, like with other ZARA creations.
