Arabian Sky by Armaf

Very good, this is Invictus and nothing but Invictus. Don’t expect a “twist”; that’s pure marketing fluff. It’s a straight clone. As for Hawas, it’s as similar as the original, making this the most distinct of the three, supposedly leaning closer to Aqua. Just to be clear, this has nothing to do with Bleu de Chanel… I noticed it has several votes.

Extravagant, nocturnal, mysterious, and dominant. It’s the scent of a “bad boy” in an expensive suit, or someone with a commanding personality. Definitely for night, parties, romantic dates, or outdoor events in cool/cold weather. It can be too intense for a closed office or extreme heat (the caramel + leather combo can suffocate at 35°C). Longevity is 6 hours with great projection. It’s a polarizing fragrance: you either love it for its richness and complexity, or you hate it for being too intense. Not a safe blind buy, but definitely unforgettable.

I didn’t smell the “bomb” citrus everyone talks about on the web; instead, the pineapple is very present. For Argentinians, I agree with the comment below that it opens very similarly to Boos Intense Night (not identical – you can try it at Farmacity). However, unlike the Armaf, this one stays there without evolving, and the scent quality drops a bit after a while. The Armaf, after 20 minutes, turns into a floral bomb (could work for a woman if it fits her style), and after 40 minutes, it settles into a very nice sweet wood. Three sprays on the neck, and you keep smelling it; even after showering, a bit lingers on the skin. Two hours into the wear, it smells like a clone of Bleu de Chanel when the latter is freshly applied (coincidentally, I smelled both yesterday). In the end, it’s something sweet and pleasant. Nothing unbearable or cloying. In a car, it invades everything (at least at first); then, after 40-50 minutes and three sprays, it wasn’t that my girlfriend smelled it strongly from 2 meters away when I got home, but she had to lean in to notice. She told me that, unlike the others I own (Tommy Impact Intense, Common, Spark, Emper Stallion 53, Emper The Black 92, Aqua di Gio Parfum, and some ugly Arab dupes), she felt this one as a scent that would grab attention immediately if worn in public—the type where if you smell it in a club, you look right at the person wearing it. I feel that more than 4 sprays might make the person in front of you faint or the person very close to you. It’s for all seasons, though I think it suits heat better. Great with a good shirt, elegant sport look, or modern elegant style. Day and night, heat and cold. I feel it’s too much for sneakers and t-shirts – Anyway, if you’re unsure between this and another, for the price, I’d go with the ASky. In Argentina, it costs between $70,000 and $100,000. Smells delicious! It just doesn’t have much projection. It reminds me of “Wanted” by Azzaro, and if you’re from Argentina, it smells almost exactly like “BOOS Intense Night”.

Dry, woody, and not annoying; I like it. On top of that, the pineapple reminds me of Le Beau Le Parfum. For $48, 18 hours on skin with a single spray, it’s very good. The bottle is great. A 10/10. I prefer Kenzo Intense, but this isn’t bad at all; not blindly, but I think anyone would like it.

What a disgusting smell to my nose; it caused me a headache and discomfort. The presentation is unbeatable, the scent is persistent, and it’s noticeable from two meters away. I wish I had a perfume I liked with these characteristics; I’d be proud to wear it. I envy the people who love it.

One of the best fresh fragrances in the world. A scent that accompanies you all day and earns compliments because it’s simply fresh and pleasant to feel. It’s an aroma that would be rare for someone not to like. A delicious orange and pineapple, yes, quite sweet to be fresh, but don’t confuse it with the sweetness of a heavy fragrance; definitely not. Here you’ll have a clean, charming breeze for any occasion. The best part besides the aroma is its longevity; it’s probably one of the best performers in the fresh/aromatic family.

Rich fragrance for daily wear, fresh and fruity with citrus, pineapple, and pepper right on the skin. Warning: if you overapply in the heat, it can be overwhelming, but 5 or 6 sprays in summer are perfect. Lasts a minimum of 8 hours on skin and all day on clothes. If you like these scents, it’s a direct recommendation.

I reviewed this a while back and found it smells about 80% like the regular YSL. The YSL is a bit fresher and the citrus is more noticeable, but the similarity is clear.

My first review and I think it was worth sharing. It’s easy to like: opens with fruity citrus where you can distinguish the pineapple and a caramel that smells fresh but sweet. The opening lasts about 45 minutes before moving to the dry-down, which transforms into a soft woody note with spicy, leather, and amber undertones. The pineapple and citrus are still noticeable, but it has body thanks to the cedar, amber, and caramel. It’s not heavy, very wearable, and I’d use it all year casually or as a signature. Sounds like a fusion between Tommy Impact, Lacoste Blanc, and Invictus. Great option for the price, buy blind if you like fresh fruity scents with a woody base.

Just bought the full Éter line and they haven’t disappointed. This was the first one I bought 5 months ago (along with Desert Night) and it’s brutal. As Gone Valo says, it has the Invictus DNA with parts of Lacoste executed masterfully, plus a soapy Ylang Ylang note of excellent quality. Longevity is brutal: strong at first, then in bursts. So potent it overwhelms Desert Night unless you keep your arms close. It’s super versatile, but where it shines is in the heat. For those of us living in the Caribbean or tropics, it’s a great buy (at least this batch). If I have to choose between Hawas, Nitro, or Invictus, I’m going 100% Arabian Sky.

I’m left with 15% remaining, which means I’ve finally finished it. This isn’t me copying YouTubers; it’s my pure, unfiltered opinion. It smells sweet, fresh, with a hint of acidity that gives it character. The opening is a showstopper—so intense and long-lasting that you barely notice your own scent, though you can detect a touch of patchouli and cedar there. I wear it to feel tidy yet relaxed, inviting people to come closer. Guys compliment me more, but girls are more likely to strike up a conversation. It reminds me of water from a cistern in the desert. Don’t compare it to anything else; just experience it. Perfect for days over 25 degrees, daily or casual wear for men aged 25 to 45, preferably with light clothing. Not for events, but for everyday life. Apply it early and enjoy its splendor as the sun starts to set. Without a doubt, a resounding yes.

Crystalline, ethereal, and with an air of luxury. It doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it’s a key piece if you like this style. They’ve nailed the quality and balance of the notes. Everyone loves it. It’s super versatile, lasts well, and leaves a trail. It’s like a 50/50 mix of Hawass and Lacoste White, and they got it right. The floral base blends perfectly with vetiver and woods, while the freshness comes from geranium, lavender, and ylang-ylang. Safe purchase. Forget Hawass, Nitro Red, YSL EDP, or Invictus unless you’re a collector. Chapeau to Armaf.

Excellent perfume, super fresh but wearable in cold weather and at night; I see it as highly adaptable to any climate.
