Desert Night by Armaf

Smells very similar to Imperial Valley or Sultan The Founder by French Avenue. Lasts quite a bit, though maybe doesn’t project as much; it’s a unique scent I’d love to try before smelling it directly, but it smells great to me. The box and presentation are super beautiful and well-crafted. It doesn’t smell too strong on me. I don’t think women will like it as much.

Smells great, a sweet and masculine leather. Feels like a blue fragrance but with a touch of curro that makes it unique. It has presence, the scent of someone who knows what they want and how to get it. Very good.

I bought it today and the best way to describe it is: a perfume that hits you upfront with a leather aroma, like a brand new luxury car, but in the dry down it has that softened wood and burnt smell. If I had to summarize it: ‘LEATHER, ASH, POWDERED’.

I’m new to perfumes and struggle to describe them, but here I noticed the pepper and leather right out of the bottle. Once it dried down, it left a woody scent with a controlled sweetness, and the pepper lingers. I accidentally got some on my hair (it’s a bit long) and it lasted nearly a week. Same with my shirt; the scent lasted for days—I could smell it from the laundry basket and even after washing it. I’d recommend trying it before buying, as it has that typical oriental aroma. I bought it blind, but I stayed for that note of pepper and woods.

Eter Desert Night is a slightly sweet leather, very clean and pleasant (hence why some say it smells like camphor). I can’t pinpoint a specific inspiration, but in my opinion, it reminds me of Tom Ford without that messy strawberry leather note that I hate. I agree with everyone: the performance is great in cold weather (8 hours, projecting 3-5 feet in a bubble), but it doesn’t do badly in heat either (it highlights the sweet side, almost like white chocolate… it definitely smells like a new car, great comparison). Very nice for a confident man. As a curious note, I haven’t gotten compliments, but people keep stopping me to talk. Cheers.

Exaggerating would be an understatement; it’s incredibly good by my standards. It’s like the interior of a brand new luxury car, with clean leather (like soap) and a rich sweet base that balances the leather and makes it smell fresh. Ideal for night or cold climates, for dressing elegantly and with personality, because it’s a scent not everyone likes; for example, some of my girlfriends like it but my sister hates it. And generally, most men love it. The Eter line is excellent, and this is one of my favorites among the 60+ perfumes I own. The performance is brutal for me, as I have difficult skin, and it lasts days on clothes.

He took a bath in the oasis with his homemade green and camphorated shampoo, cleaning his wounds. Then he rubbed himself with sandalwood, olibanum, and patchouli oils. He returned to his tent, dressed in silk and cured leather that fermented with clean scents, giving a clean, green, camphorated, earthy, and grayish leather scent. He pulled out maps and chewed on tonka bean. He made a decision: he wouldn’t let anyone harm his people. That DESERT NIGHT. SCENT: Camphorated, green, clean, deep, masculine, earthy, and spicy leather. Navigate confidently in the niche world. LONGEVITY: +8 hours. PROJECTILE: High. DAY OR NIGHT: Totally nocturnal.
