I’m not sure if it resembles Amouage’s Jubilation XXV Man, but it’s not quite like Oud for Greatness. I expected something more powerful with a bolder oud given the name, but it’s much kinder thanks to the saffron, tobacco, and cedar (with a strong oud, of course). It’s marketed as unisex, but it smells very masculine. I picture it on a well-groomed gentleman: confident, kind, yet with enough personality that no one would step over him. Even though it wasn’t what I expected, it’s an excellent fragrance.
It’s a dense oud (or tobacco?), definitely not my usual vibe, and the opening overwhelmed me, but by the 30-minute mark it sounded noble. I can’t really distinguish the notes due to lack of experience, but I’m hooked. At 24, I find it tricky to wear in cool or fresh weather because it projects an image of someone much more mature; it’s not a mossy old-man scent like Quorum, but it carries a masculine presence. It’s not too heavy, with a fresh touch that doesn’t feel suffocating at 24 degrees. I see it for special occasions—elegant and a bit dirty. Honestly, I didn’t like it at first: the oud (or tobacco?) smelled heavy, unpleasant, almost foul, and I barely tested it before buying. Okay, once it hit my skin, it smelled better. It seems you need to let it evolve, and at least I don’t regret buying it blind, haha. EDIT: Over time, this has become my favorite. The scent softened to become very pleasant, losing that foul opening. It’s dark, mysterious, woody, with a touch of sweetness and freshness. Yes, it’s for adults and very elegant. It’s not versatile; it requires a purpose. Out of all my Arabic fragrances, this is the one that has oxidized the best.
