It feels more like a cologne than a true perfume. The longevity is just about right, around 3 hours, which is useful for work shifts. The scent is calm but hits you hard and fades just as quickly.
The sample card lists the notes: Top with ozonic galbanum, Sicilian lemon, and Florida grapefruit; Heart of cypress, lavender, caraway, juniper, and cardamom; Base of patchouli, cedar, tobacco, leather, and musk. The citrus opening with grapefruit and a potent galbanum grabs you, even reminding me of Azzaro’s Chrome thanks to that ozonic note. After 5 hours, it smells like a touch of lavender, soft cypress (much less than Encre Noir), and juniper. At 8 hours, a faint musk; at 12 hours, leather and cedar with a bit of musk. The opening is the best part, but the heart fades, and the drydown is a bit generic. With the 1.5 ml sample, the sillage is moderate, almost weak, and the longevity exceeds 12 hours, though it clings to the skin heavily at the end. Ideal for informal spring days and fresh in enclosed spaces without being bothersome—perfect for daytime wear.
