Share what you noticed: opening, drydown, sillage and the moments when it works for you.
The drydown doesn’t work for me; it smells like an older lady’s perfume, but the drydown itself is fantastic: rich, sweet, original, with very interesting floral notes that make it feel fresh, though I can’t quite define it well—it just smells great (in the drydown).
Hamptons is a very light and balanced fragrance, but honestly, its projection doesn’t stand out in this niche category. In my opinion, it has a harmonious accord with an DNA reminiscent of the classic Dolce & Gabbana for men, highlighting that astringent sage note. As a downside, it lacks any real push or projection.
It smells quite generic, with projection and longevity that aren’t very high, so it could easily pass as a designer fragrance.
