With the mint and that sweet amber base, it smells like a mint granita ice cream. It doesn’t sound masculine to me at all; it’s almost childish.
This is my favorite body spray: neither too sweet nor too masculine. It has already taken the spot from Cherry Spritz.
It’s my top body spray: not too sweet, not too masculine, and it’s already surpassed Cherry Spritz for me.
Generic and basic, but super functional and delicious. I’ve gotten compliments using it on my feet or for room freshening. It also covers up armpit odors well. I need an EDP of this: basic but charming.
Axe should release an EDP of this. Seriously, I’m not exaggerating: it’s my secret weapon. Sometimes I use it instead of perfume and I feel like I’m on another level. At first, it gave off that ‘cheap’ vibe with a mentholated, dirty note, but once I got it, the impact is front-facing. It smells like a rich dessert with a lavender tablecloth that adds retro masculinity. Ugh, soapy, creamy, everything. I tried several and only this one blew my mind. The Cherry Fizz is a huge mistake; going from smelling the best deodorant (Blue Lavender) to the biggest aberration (Cherry Fizz) is a world of difference.
Axe should release an EDP of this. Seriously, I’m not exaggerating… it’s become my secret weapon. Sometimes I don’t wear perfume, and just this puts me on another level. At first, I was grossed out by the ‘cheap’ vibe and that mentholated, dirty note, but once I got it, the impact is direct. It smells gourmand; people say I smell like a delicious dessert, and they’re right—like a rich dessert with lavender on top giving it that retro touch. Ugh, soapy, creamy, everything. I’ve tried several, and only this one blew my mind. I tried Cherry Fizz because I read it projected a lot (big mistake): I went from smelling the best deodorant of my life (Blue Lavender) to the absolute worst aberration (Cherry Fizz). There’s fabric involved, huh.
I tried the Blue Lavender and people say it’s a mix of Dark Temptation and 212, but it’s not. Its scent is pure mentholated lavender that smells great and lasts forever.
I found it on my way home. I still need to try the Aqua Bergamot, which they say is similar to Acqua Di Gio. In Mexico, the Emerald Sage hasn’t been released yet, which is similar to Drakkar Noir, and I’ve been looking for something like that for a long time; the current Drakkar formula doesn’t perform well at all. Back to the Blue Lavender: I notice aromatic and floral lavender at the start, a bit of mint, and the amber dominates the dry down with warm spices. It reminds me of D&G The One. For a date in winter or autumn, it will pull through. To be honest, I might use this more for dates than my battle perfumes: Bentley For Men EDT, Givenchy Gentleman EDT (vintage), CH Men Privé, and Chanel Egoiste. This Blue Lavender feels very natural and opulent; it’s tempting to finish the collection and buy only this.
It’s surprising that it’s a deodorant but it projects very well. That could be a downside if you want to wear it with another perfume, because it overlaps easily. The scent is good; the amber is sweet, almost vanilla-like, and it reminds me a bit of Lattafa’s Tharwah Gold, but masculine. I wouldn’t say it’s fresh, but it’s versatile and purposeful for being masculine. Although I wouldn’t use it because it projects so much, if you have a small budget and want to smell good and different, it’s an excellent option: it won’t be the best, but it’s quite unique.
