Bleu Glacial by L'Bel

Finally got the Bleu Glacial I needed for summer. Upon application, it smells like crushed ice mixed with Siberian pine, frozen mint, and green tea. It’s the best version of the Bleu line; I’m in love with it.

A very fresh herbal perfume where eucalyptus takes the lead. It’s simple, lasts more than 6 hours, and I’ve received many compliments, especially from people who aren’t obsessed with perfumes. It’s cheap and does its job.

At 300 pesos ($15), it’s a good fragrance for daily life without spending much. It lasts about 5 hours on skin with a trail and moderate projection; you’d have to get very close to notice it. I’ve received compliments because being fresh and light pleases most people. It’s a good purchase, just consider it a very generic scent, but if that doesn’t matter to you, go for it. Best.

Try 2 sprays on your arm: I had high expectations of finding a perfume for extreme summer, fresh to the max. At first, it was a bit typical, leaning towards deodorant or soap with a mentholated touch. But buying it on sale for $12, honestly, it doesn’t smell so soapy anymore. Maybe it’s a different batch. Now it feels more herbal, which I like. Lasts exactly between 6 and 6.5 hours with medium-low projection for the first 2 hours.

It smells like a Speed Stick men’s antiperspirant; nothing new. Given I had low expectations for a catalog fragrance and was just looking for something to refresh me in summer, it didn’t disappoint. It does the job, and since it’s perfume concentration and not eau de toilette, I save myself some mercy. From the intense, sweetened synthetic opening that smells like detergent powder, I can’t appreciate the citrus, anise, or the “ice” note they advertise so much. The menthol is only noticeable when it dries and is barely perceptible; let’s not even talk about eucalyptus, which is missing. The pleasant part is that the bubblegum sweetness fades after an hour. What does last and stand out is the juniper with pine, flat and enveloping, which makes this “perfume” at least masculine and durable; that’s its only success. If I try to describe the “coolness” of this pretension, I warn you that from a tub of ice cubes, you’ll only get dry plastic. It’s a decorative ice chest incapable of giving cold. In my country, they sell a nasal decongestant called Eucasol; just spray it twice on your clothes to smell fresh for at least 4 hours with a trail reminiscent. From this Bleu Glacial, I expected, if not the same, at least a similar effect, since they advertise “ice, mint, eucalyptus, peppermint, and anise.” To refute their advertising or due to the unfortunate pH of my skin, the menthol is ironically faint and ghostly. If you want to smell like this “parfum,” bathe in the aforementioned antiperspirant, overapply it, and keep it close to your skin; it’ll be cheaper. If you really want to buy it, wait for the catalog campaign that reduces the price the most.

It’s a super affordable fragrance, perfect for hot weather because it gives you that ‘icy’ vibe from its name: woody and herbal, without being too formal or fougere. For very hot climates, it’s ideal, and given the price, it’s an excellent option.

Bleu Glacial by L’bel. It’s the freshest in the line: the regular is marine, Night is spicier, and this Glacial one is pure freshness. Mentholated, woody, and aromatic notes. Smells great, has a trail, and moderate longevity. Ideal for everyday wear, the office, or work. I bought it in winter, and at first, many people couldn’t handle it; the cold air and the mint in the perfume made a weird combination.

Reminds me of Hugo Boss Bottled Unlimited with those fruity and minty notes. Smells like ice with mint and a sweet woody touch. It’s too fresh, like blue Traident gum or toothpaste, but in a good way: you leave a trail of sweet, masculine mint. Lasts 5 hours on my skin with low projection. I recommend it for exercise, heat, and semi-formal occasions.
