Guys and gals—or better yet, ladies: this smells like Byredo’s Bibliotèque. One day, someone gifted me a trio of niche decants, including the original. I loved it instantly, but I didn’t want to drop $400. So, I hunted down the only Arab copy on the market, and it convinced me. It imitates the original quite well from start to finish. Even though I’m a man, I admit it leans feminine, but I love it. It’s sweet, intoxicating, musky, delicate, and has great longevity and projection (I applied a lot and almost fainted). It’s an interesting scent that breaks gender molds. Don’t buy it blind; it can get cloying for some. If you’re looking for an ‘alpha male’ vibe, this isn’t it. It’s intoxicating, addictive, and sexy; on a woman, it would be incredibly seductive.
