Borabora by Giardini Di Toscana is an olfactory fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2023, the nose behind this composition is Silvia Martinelli. The top notes unfold with tiare flower, ylang-ylang, jasmine, and bergamot; the heart reveals coconut milk, white musk, and jasmonolactone; while the base notes close the pyramid with vanilla, caramel, white musk, and amber.

A dream come true. It evokes the perfect beach day: my Easter holidays on the northern coast of my island (beautiful Quisqueya) with family and friends. You feel the scorching sun, tropical fruits, refreshments, salt, white sand, and creamy flowers. Divine, realistically so. The coconut is well-mixed, distinct, and fused with everything to create a unique experience. Nothing cloying or sticky. Give it a try at least once. Almost a religious experience by the sea 🏖️☀️♥️. The most tropical fragrance in my collection.
Beautiful Tiare and coconut perfume. Top-notch longevity and super-organized complexity; the notes come out exactly as listed in the pyramid. The dry-down smells of caramel and vanilla with a tropical coconut touch. It’s not 100% solar, more like solar-gourmand. High quality, no pretensions, and perfect for summer. It’s the luxury version of Yves Rocher’s Monoi and surpasses Montale’s Tiare in both longevity and complexity. Accurate blind buy!
DELICIOUS. Despite the strong Tiare flower presence, it’s addictive. I imagine myself on an island in a floral skirt; the scent is very summery. It lasts quite a while and lingers on clothes and hair much longer; I don’t smell much coconut on me, just Tiare. I would buy it many times without a doubt.
On dry skin, it smells very much like a (presumably) Tiare flower. If you don’t know what Tiare smells like, it’s about 40% rose and 30% iris: a bit powdery with a faint rose memory. It doesn’t smell bad; once applied to skin, the magic happens and it becomes 50% floral and 50% tropical, feeling the milky coconut alongside the flower. I say I don’t like florals because they remind me of fabric softener or talcum powder, but that’s not the case here; it doesn’t feel synthetic to me. I wouldn’t lie if I said I can’t tell the difference between natural and artificial ingredients, but what I do feel is the quality—it’s not so sharp for the nose. In the heat, it doesn’t suffocate, which was my only concern in an open environment. Nothing like an air-conditioned office. I’m blown away by this house: two blind buys and both turned out great. After several heartbreaks of having to sell bottles from blind purchases, I can’t resist this brand anymore. Edit: I wore about 8 sprays today and basically fogged myself because it’s been 12 hours and I still smell it. With this, no need to carry a decant; it’s ridiculous. If it’s beast mode.
Another addictive Giardini di Toscana perfume. What a rich scent! More than just the beach, it evokes sunny countryside landscapes, full of flowers, jasmine, fruits, and that sunscreen aroma associated with the bold Tiare note. It’s a tender, exquisite fragrance, an absolute must-have in my life from now on. A milky, floral-fruity gourmand.
Another addictive gem from Giardini di Toscana. What a rich perfume! It evokes less beach and more sun-drenched countryside landscapes: flowers, jasmine, fruits, and that sunscreen scent with a daring touch of tiare. It’s tender, exquisite, and stays in my life forever. A lactonic floral-fruity scent for lovers who can’t help but devour their perfume.
I took advantage of temperatures finally breaking 20 degrees to try out some ‘summer’ perfume samples. Borabora is another white coconut-floral type of sun lotion, but this is Giardini di Toscana, and they always do it right. Ten-hour longevity, divine sillage without being overwhelming; you can smell the perfume all day without it getting annoying. Great quality at an attractive price for lovers of beach fragrances that evoke Virgin Islands vacations. At first, it smells just of apricot, like that scent left on your hands after peeling a peach, but then it dissipates and the coconut and flowers emerge. In the dry-down, that characteristic caramel/burnt sugar base appears, present in Bianco Latte and Celeste too. Now: it’s not my thing, it doesn’t fit my personality or style. That’s why I wouldn’t buy it, but today, trying it out, I did enjoy it.

Ten-hour longevity, divine sillage without being overwhelming; you can smell it all day without it getting in your way. Great quality, attractive price for lovers of beach vibes, evoking the Virgin Islands. At first, it seems like apricot, like the smell when peeling a peach, but then the coconut and flowers come out. In the dry-down, that typical caramel/burnt sugar base of the house appears, just like in Bianco Latte and Celeste. Now: it’s not my thing, it doesn’t fit my personality or style. After months of hesitation, I finally gave in. I was afraid it might be as dense as Celeste or Bianco Latte—my favorites, but overwhelming in the heat. I think it has the perfect balance for this season: sweet without being cloying, strong without being intrusive. It’s a summer dream. Every time I wear it, I feel like I’m in a Balinese beach house with white curtains fluttering in the breeze, the sound of waves in the background, a coconut cocktail in hand, and the sky turning pink at sunset. Pure magic. On skin, the opening is a sweet, slightly boozy note with tiare that evolves into a milky fragrance with coconut milk, finishing with the essence of Giardini di Toscana: creamy, caramelized vanilla that’s sensual. It’s not for a very young crowd; I see it for women 25-30 and up. Very flattering and sexy up close, with moderate sillage and high longevity, lasting about 10-12 hours. Suitable for any time of day, though in the office you need to be careful with the dosage. Moderate price for a niche fragrance with fascinating quality.

I think it has the perfect balance for this season: sweet without being cloying, strong without being intrusive. Definitely a summer dream. Every time I wear it, I feel like I’m in a Balinese bed with white curtains fluttering, waves in the background, a coconut cocktail, and a magical sunset. A perfume that needs to be tested on skin: it starts sweet with tiare, evolves into a lactonic fragrance with coconut milk, and finishes with creamy, caramelized, sensual vanilla. Not for a very young audience; I see it for women 25-30 and up. Very flattering and sexy up close, with medium sillage and high longevity, around 10-12 hours. Suitable for any time of day, though in the office you need to be careful not to ‘fume’ yourself. Moderate price for a niche with fascinating quality.
Trying it right now… it wasn’t what I expected; I was thinking of a fragrance with tropical and sweet tones. Starting with the opening: very, very floral (yellow), it immediately reminded me of Poème by Lancôme. I admit that as it dries down, it gets much sweeter, and yes, those tropical notes are more present, but very subtle; the intense creamy yellow florals still dominate. I’m starting to like the dry down more, we need to get to know each other better.
Sweet tropical floral. To me, it smells very artificial and isn’t refreshing at all. The ylang-ylang is overwhelming.
This perfume is dominated by the floral notes of ylang-ylang and jasmine, wrapped in the sweetness of subtly fruity vanilla and the softness of musk. It’s slightly lactonic, and the coconut milk feels very close to the skin. It’s a pleasant, very feminine, and delicate fragrance with the characteristic quality of GDT. Due to my sensitive nose, it’s not for summer; although it’s not heavy, it’s still too intense for high temperatures. For me, it’s perfect for spring, in temperatures that are neither too hot nor too cold.
I bought a decant and found it too indolic, artificial, and cloying. I imagined it would be like Soleil Blanc, which I love, but it’s very different. I didn’t like it; I can’t stop perceiving a dirty baby wipe smell. It’s nothing pleasant, but honestly, I just couldn’t handle it.
Bought it looking for creamy, lactonic alternatives with a coconut note. At first, I was disappointed because the floral accords were too loud and persistent compared to what I wanted. After a month and a bit of maceration, I tried it again and oh my god! The sweetness isn’t very persistent, it’s creamy, I can finally smell the coconut, and the flowers are in the background. I picture it for those spring beach days, on a fresh morning or late afternoon. I’ll be using it a lot this season. The longevity is around 6 to 7 hours, nothing beastly. Still, I think it’s worth trying because it’s very polarizing.

It wasn’t what I expected. It’s a perfume where floral notes dominate in abundance; the opening is quite strong and makes it a bit hard to tolerate if you’re more into gourmand scents than florals. I had a hard time identifying the coconut I wanted to be the main note. As it dries down, the flowers calm down and I found a faint resemblance to Mancera’s Coco Vanille. I wouldn’t buy it because it smells very vintage to me, but I think it’s ideal for those looking for a summer perfume that isn’t the typical sunscreen kind.
A very fruity aroma at first, like tropical fruit, then it fades to give way to vanilla and caramel. I sense it more as a women’s scent because of how sweet and long-lasting it is.

It’s extremely floral; you can really feel the ylang-ylang and white flowers, which makes it impossible to pick up the rest of the declared composition. In that sense, it’s very similar to the Intense Tiare I already own, and I didn’t want another one like that. The Intense Tiare feels a bit synthetic to me, but they’re still too similar and I don’t need another. It doesn’t disgust me, but it also doesn’t call to me.
I bought a decant and the scent transports me to a beach, quite summery. I didn’t smell the coconut I was hoping for, but I did get a pretty intense floral. I’ll keep testing it, but for now, I don’t think I’ll buy the 100ml bottle. I’ll use it tomorrow to go out since the weather will be quite hot and will update then.
It’s a well-made tropical floral, but watch out: it’s not for everyone. Despite the hype, the floral part is super potent and takes center stage at the start, almost overwhelming. If you’re looking for a simple fruity scent or aren’t used to bold florals, this is a risky bet. What I notice most is an ylang-ylang bomb: super dense, fleshy, almost chewable. The first 30-40 minutes hit me too hard in every way, but after that, it becomes much more wearable. I was surprised that the coconut on my skin gets almost eclipsed by the flowers; as it dries down, I smell more vanilla and caramel than coconut. Wow… as a coconut lover, it has less presence than I expected, but I enjoy it a lot. I see it as unisex, though I think women will like it more, and it’s 100% summer. Performance is excellent, nothing to complain about. To sum up, I really liked it, though I’m not sure if enough to add it to my collection.
The opening is very tropical and fresh, pretty, but as soon as it dries down, it leaves a coconut and musk room spray scent that feels heavy to me, even dirty. I wouldn’t wear it in summer; maybe I’ll give it a shot in winter, but I don’t see it for me.
The opening is very tropical and fresh, nice, but when it dries down, it leaves a coconut air freshener and musk scent that feels heavy, with a dirty note. I wouldn’t wear it in summer; maybe I’ll give it a try in winter, but I don’t see it for me.
I tried a sample and fell in love, so I rushed to buy it. I already have it and it is nothing like what I remember. It smells like unrefined coconut, like any body spray from a €3 drugstore. Unbearable.
I expected something much better. It lasts about two hours and barely projects.
I’m a newbie and I’m ecstatic, in love with this fragrance. I understand it has a tiny bit of room spray vibe due to the predominant sweetness, but it smells amazing, oh my god. I admit I haven’t explored much, but it was exactly what I needed: sweet, milky, and musky notes. It sits incredibly on my skin, discreet and not invasive, perfect for being around people for a long time. It relaxes me and makes me feel at home even when I’m out on the street, instant love. Very feminine (but if a guy sprays it, I’d eat it up!), spring/summer but I’d use it always for how comforting it is, very youthful (but anyone can wear it). Gorgeous.
I’m not a huge fan of white florals with sweet notes like coconut and vanilla, especially because I feel the sweetness ends up swallowing the flowers; and that happens here. I bought a 5ml decant for vacation expecting a tropical floral, but unfortunately, it wasn’t. What dominates is peach, coconut, and caramel, which prevents me from enjoying it. It’s too sweet, very gourmand to wear comfortably in summer, and although there is coconut, it’s very sweet and heavy. I wouldn’t buy the full bottle, and its longevity and sillage leave much to be desired.
Nice scent for summer, but the price is disproportionate for this profile. Smells like lotion, not a perfume over €100.
A masterpiece, gorgeous. Super soft yellow flowers, sweet in just the right amount, with ylang-ylang making it creamy and divine. It turns you into ‘Miss Femininity’ instantly; you feel like being sweeter, more delicate, and flirting effortlessly. Lasts quite a while and the trail is moderate but very pretty.
When you smell it, you feel like you’re lowering your blood pressure and collapsing into a cloud surrounded by angels. It’s more feminine than masculine, but so sublime I’d wear it in summer just to change things up. I imagine it with a white shirt, fresh in the morning.
One of the best I’ve tried, nothing synthetic. Smells like real yellow flowers with a shy, sweet coconut. Lasts all day on skin and weeks on clothes without bothering. The tropical florals and that musky floral base are divine, though projection drops off later. Don’t buy blindly as it’s very different from the usual; it definitely depends on skin chemistry, but 100% worth testing.
Smells great but doesn’t last, maybe a maximum of two hours. Starts floral and sweet, then only coconut remains. I love the scent, but for the price, I would have looked for another option.
